Ward quickly said, "I’ll be discharged in a couple of days. When you come next time, just go to my house. You know where it is, right?"
Eleanor Taylor nodded, smiled sweetly, raised her hand, and waved at him, "See you next time then."
"Sure, see you next time." Ward nodded eagerly.
"Nora, Sir Easton, goodbye."
Eleanor Taylor bade farewell to Nora Scott and Antonio Easton before leaving with contentment.
As soon as the hospital room door closed, Ward couldn’t help but turn his head and brag to Antonio Easton, "Who said I raised a daughter who’s heartless and useless? Didn’t she raise a wonderful daughter too?"
Ward was radiant, beaming with a rare joy.
When Antonio Easton thought of Helena Wills, his face darkened, and he snorted, "That’s her only strength."
Ward sighed, "We’re really in the same boat."

"Such formalities?" Ward chuckled, "Don’t worry, old Easton doesn’t really fancy you youngsters hanging around him all the time."
With one hand in her pocket, Nora raised an eyebrow and gave Antonio Easton a playful look.
Antonio Easton glared at her, then turned his head away with a cold snort.
Nora shrugged, "I’m off then."
Antonio Easton called her back again.
Pausing, Nora looked over in confusion.
"Once I’m discharged, have Pedro come over. I have something to give him."
"Don’t you have his number?" Nora asked, puzzled.
Antonio Easton paused, then said, "Deleted it."
Nora laughed, "You two get along like family; what, did you have a tiff?"
Antonio Easton stared at her in silence.
Nora shrugged, responding helplessly.
Since things became clear on that occasion, she hadn’t contacted Pedro Langley, and there’s been an unspoken tension.
However, considering how Antonio Easton and Pedro got along so well, if Antonio Easton wanted to see Pedro now... she’d bring Pedro to him, no matter what.

The phone flipped twice in her hand, and after a brief consideration, with a hint of anger, she redialed the number.
The call connected again.
This time, it wasn’t hung up on, and someone answered.
It was a woman, and her voice was quite pleasant.
