Pain Immunity: Worried the Villains Aren’t Twisted Enough Chapter 613

"Badass." On his wrist, Black Knight watched the one who had taken the initiative to act, and couldn't help but praise.

The mohawk-headed guy threw out an attack. Seeing the person in front of him acting like he had been scared stiff, completely motionless, his expression gradually turned disdainful.

The intelligence really didn't have major problems after all. The experts in this place truly had limited strength, and their numbers were small.

As long as he didn't unfortunately run into that Jiang Yuan, he could sleep easy.

After becoming one of the first Apostles, his strength had been enhanced to some degree, and he was currently riding a wave of overflowing confidence.

Besides, for him, he didn't really care much about the game's missions or plans. He just enjoyed the feeling of doing whatever he wanted, being superior to others.

Most of the surrounding Dragon Group personnel were administrative;

combat personnel were, in each city, very limited. At this moment there was simply nobody with the ability to come to the rescue.

But very quickly, they saw a scene that shocked them.

That player who had appeared from who-knows-where, whom nobody recognized, casually raised his hand and lightly grabbed.

The spear tip was now pointing at his eye, the distance only fractions of an inch, yet he did not so much as blink. His confidence in his own strength seemed to have never considered the possibility of an accident.

That effortless strength-making move left the mohawk-headed man a little stunned, but the next second he nearly bit his own jaw to pieces.

The young boy opposite casually lifted the long spear into his hand, folded it as if playing with a toy.

In an instant, the two-meter spear made of tempered steel was literally crumpled in his hand, the sharp spearhead crushed bit by bit by his fingers!

Then the entire spear was kneaded like a rag, compressed into a ball, and tossed aside.

"Ah... why did he just use his hands like that?"

"Do I look especially temperate now?"

The mohawk man's Adam's apple bobbed as he stared at the bundle on the ground, feeling as if every sound around him had been instantaneously muted.

When the three-hour contraction period began and the city started to descend into chaos, his mind had felt as if he'd been drinking—dizzy and woozy.

Like a carnival had begun.

Now it was as if a bucket of cold water had been poured from head to toe, and he fully woke up.

How could this be...

How is this possible!

Weren't they supposed to have no experts? Crushing tempered steel with bare hands—what level of strength is that?!

"Ah, actually, I don't have much patience."

"Before I kill you, you better tell me what tasks the Game assigned to you Apostles."

Moscow—no, the mohawk man was snapped awake by Lu Ce's words, slightly twisted his head, and locked eyes with Lu Ce, instantly shivering.

A dread stemming from the depths of his soul hit him, making his body sway and causing him to fall from high in the air.

Previously Lu Ce had faced either the Divine Messenger or someone of Perfect Life's caliber;

his own elevated life status still didn't give him such an overwhelming edge.

Now facing this person, the terrifying suppression felt like a lamb seeing a tiger.

Lu Ce stepped one foot toward him.

"Don't... don't! I’ll tell you!" he stammered.

Lu Ce: ?

Why does this feel like torture interrogation? Is my face not kind enough?

Well, maybe it is, since the other party came out intending to kill, perhaps Lu Ce's demeanor carried killing intent.

The mohawk man didn't have time to think about how the other knew the Apostles were related to the Game;

he could only hurriedly say:

"Our mission is... is to let more people know what is right."

"To let ordinary people know that becoming a player is the only way out, to let players know that approaching the Game is the only path."

"As for specifics... we just do whatever we want, make people afraid, make the world chaotic..."

Lu Ce's expression instantly showed puzzlement. This operation didn't seem directly related to him...

Could he be being sentimental? Was this just the Game accelerating its progress?

"You're lying!" Suddenly, from Lu Ce's wrist Black Knight imitated a robotic voice and shouted loudly.

Then a beam of light shot from the wrist, instantly piercing the man's thigh.

Seeing the gush of blood from his leg, the man screamed in agony and rolled on the ground clutching his wound.

"I'm not lying! I'm not!" he cried.

Lu Ce had no idea whether he was lying or not. He glanced at his wrist;

the prior action had been purely Black Knight's doing.

"No, you lied," Black Knight continued, "because I'm a soul detector."

"No... no..." The massive soul pressure and the fear of death made it almost impossible for him to form complete sentences.

"Who... who exactly are you?!" he managed.

"Me?" Lu Ce raised an eyebrow, "My name is Lu Ce. Nothing to hide, I'm a member of Divine Punishment."

"What?" The voice of the mohawk-headed man instantly became sharp, like it cracked.

"Divine Punishment! Weren't we supposed to be on the same side?!"

"You... you aren't actually...?"

Lu Ce: ?

Now it was his turn to be a little odd.

Since when did the Apostles become colleagues of Divine Punishment? Xie Antong didn't seem to have told him that.

But just as Lu Ce intended to ask more, the man in front of him was already in a state of mental collapse.

So fragile...

"This one is probably ruined, next," Black Knight said quietly.

"Mm." Lu Ce nodded thoughtfully, then raised his hand and aimed Black Knight at the mohawk man.

"You! What are you doing!? You said you wouldn't kill me!" the man suddenly cried out, as if snapped back to life.

"When did I say that?" Lu Ce shrugged.

"I said, before you die, you'd better tell me."

"Now you've told me, hmm."

Mowhawk man: ?
