Shi Beiyu lifted his eyebrow slightly and shook his head again.
“Clothes? A handbag?”
Shi Beiyu shook his head once again.
Mu Siyin looked troubled. “Then what is it?”
Shi Beiyu decided to beat around the bush. “Keep guessing.”
Mu Siyin’s brows knitted together tightly as she looked at Shi Beiyu and said, “Don’t tell me that you got me a house.”
Shi Beiyu chuckled. “A house is nothing compared to its value.”
Mu Siyin gave up when she heard this. “I really don’t know what it is, Uncle.”
Mu Siyin had not called him an ‘Uncle’ for a while, so her sudden remark that day excited Shi Beiyu. He smirked as he uttered, “Stupid.”
Mu Siyin was offended by his words. “How am I supposed to know what it is when you make it so mysterious?”
Shi Beiyu laughed joyfully. “I’ll show it to you at night.”
Mu Siyin did not like what she heard.
“You… Why are you like this? Why can’t you tell me after all the suspense?”
Seeing that she was getting annoyed, Shi Beiyu lifted his eyebrows and said, “Do you really want to know?”
Mu Siyin nodded her head madly. “Yeah!”
Shi Beiyu simply smiled and said, “It’s something so far yet so near.”
This caught Mu Siyin by surprise.
Shi Beiyu could only laugh when he saw how dumbfounded she looked.
When she finally came back to her senses the next second, she looked at Shi Beiyu anxiously. “You! Do you think it’s funny to tease me?”
He was just beating around the bush to tease her!

Shi Beiyu looked at her innocently. “I’m being honest.”
Mu Siyin’s face blushed uncontrollably. “Y-You’re a pervert!”
Shi Beiyu burst out laughing. As he hugged her, he said, “It’s not even nighttime yet. I haven’t even started.”
Mu Siyin wished she could tape Shi Beiyu’s mouth shut.
“Shush. Whoever that talks within this half an hour is a dog.”
Shi Beiyu was speechless.
It was mid-noon by the time they arrived at Shi Beiyu’s villa.
Seeing Mu Siyin’s arrival, Uncle Zhong paced up curiously to welcome her. “Little Siyin! Where have you been these past few days?”
Mu Siyin was just about to reply to him when Shi Beiyu pulled her to another side. Then, he looked at Uncle Zhong and said, “Yinyin is hungry, Uncle Zhong. Get someone to make her lunch now.”
Uncle Zhong immediately tutted. “What’s wrong with me talking to Little Siyin, Little Beibei? I haven’t seen her for so many days.”
Mu Siyin tried to hide her smile when she heard this.
However, Shi Beiyu said, “I haven’t seen her in a few days, too. Wait for your turn.”
Mu Siyin was at a loss for words.
As Shi Beiyu pulled Mu Siyin into the house, Uncle Zong glared at Shi Beiyu angrily. “That petty little brat! Can’t I even talk to my daughter-in-law for two minutes?”
Mu Siyin was very speechless at Shi Beiyu’s actions too. Turning her head around, she looked at him and whispered, “It’s fine if Uncle Zhong wants to talk to me. Why do you have to piss him off like that?”
