Pampered By My Fake Boyfriend's Brother Chapter 332

The tone of Mrs. Su was icy cold as she looked at Su Jianteng with disdain in her eyes.

Su Jianteng heard his wife’s words, a glimmer of unease flickered in his eyes, then he thought about how all his deeds were always so hidden, how could his idle wife at home possibly find out?

After pondering for a while, Su Jianteng smiled broadly and said, "What nonsense are you saying now, isn’t it just that I didn’t wash my hands after work? I’ll go to the bathroom immediately, okay?" With that, he pretended to stand up.

After taking a couple of steps and seeing that his wife didn’t stop him, instead wore a cold face looking extremely angry, an ominous premonition arose in his heart.

Since their marriage, the couple had always treated each other with mutual respect, especially in recent years as Su Jianteng’s career took off, outwardly he treated his wife more and more respectfully.

"Well, what’s the reason you called me back?" Su Jianteng sat back down on the sofa, his expression turning serious.

"Don’t you know what you’ve done?" Mrs. Su glared at him in anger.

Who was Su Jianteng? With years of experience in the business world, navigating people had become second nature to him. Since his wife hadn’t explicitly stated his wrongdoing, he was even less likely to confess anything.

"Every day I’m slogging away at the company, what could I have done?" Su Jianteng avoided her gaze, trying to act calm, he picked up a cup from the coffee table, took a sip, and then furrowed his brow.

The tea was too bitter, he quickly put the cup down, having to swallow his dissatisfaction in such a tense atmosphere.

"From what I see, you’re still full of energy." Mrs. Su sarcastically taunted, "At your age, you can still get someone pregnant, that’s quite the skill."

No matter how you put it, Su Jianteng was a prominent man in T City, and his wife’s biting sarcasm had worn out all his patience.

"What do you mean?" Su Jianteng was infuriated.

He did have women outside, but he was always careful not to have any illegitimate children.

Seeing the man’s furious expression, Mrs. Su was a bit uncertain: could it be he really didn’t know?

"I heard that Miss Yanyan is pregnant with your child?" Mrs. Su fixated on him, attempting to see if he was lying.

Su Jianteng abruptly stood up and said with certainty, "Impossible."

After many years of marriage, Mrs. Su somewhat understood this man. Though he was lustful and surrounded by flocks of women, he wouldn’t let any of them get pregnant.

This was an unspoken agreement the couple had shared for years.

She allowed Su Jianteng to keep women outside, but he had to give her honor and respect, and prevent any illegitimate children from being born.

"You didn’t know?" Mrs. Su sneered, seeing his clueless face, "It seems your little lover is planning a surprise for you."

Since she said this, she must know something, calming his emotions, Su Jianteng focused on her, "Who told you this?"

"Someone in the know, do I need to relay everything to you?"

Su Jianteng seethed with anger.

Since the beauty he desired leapt to her death, he had been in low spirits, the unattainable always being the most tempting, and in the dead of night, An Ying’s enchanting face filled his mind.

Now, hearing from his wife about his lover’s pregnancy, Su Jianteng had mixed feelings.

Without another word, he headed straight for the door.

As Mrs. Su watched his retreating figure, she coldly declared, "If you dare let that woman have the child, I won’t let it end well for you."

Su Jianteng hesitated at her hysterical words, then quickly strode out.

His assistant was parking the car outside; seeing him approach, the assistant quickly opened the rear car door.

Once in the car, Su Jianteng gave an address.

The assistant heard it and quietly opened the door.

In the apartment, Yanyan was placing a cherry in her mouth as she watched the large LCD TV nearby.

"Auntie, don’t make the dishes too greasy later." Seeing a woman approach, Yanyan promptly reminded her.

"Okay." The woman nodded.

With the heater on, Yanyan wore a thin long dress, lying across the soft sofa, a blanket covering her flat abdomen.

Being slender, it was impossible to tell she was several months pregnant, but due to the pregnancy, her bosom seemed fuller.

During this time, each time the man visited her, he couldn’t take his hands off her.

Although the woman always advised her not to entertain him for the baby’s sake, she always gave in seeing his eager gaze.

Her mind drifting, she was drawn back by the doorbell.

The woman went to open the door.

Yanyan set down her small fork and obediently sat up. The man’s visits had become more frequent recently, making her happy, as it showed she was weighing more in his heart. Stroking her belly, she thought. Tʜe sourcᴇ of thɪs content ɪs 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡·𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖·𝔫𝔢𝔱

Changing his shoes at the entrance, Su Jianteng saw her cheerful face in the hall.

She spoke sweetly, her tone lingering.

In the past, hearing such melodious tones would have sparked a strong desire within him.

But now, Su Jianteng’s icy stare fell upon her belly; seeing her hand over it, his gaze turned dark.

Yanyan saw the man’s cold demeanor after he sat down and felt uneasy.

"Sir, what’s wrong?" Since his entrance, the man had remained silent, his gaze probing her, Yanyan timidly leaned against him, delicately shaking his arm, "Did someone upset you?"

Turning to her, Su Jianteng saw her pitiful demeanor and harshly asked, "Pregnant?"

The woman in the corner quietly left after hearing him speak.

The TV’s loud chatter filled the vast hall, broadcasting a variety show; the actors chattered endlessly.

The noise made Su Jianteng’s head ache; he grabbed the remote and turned it off.

After hearing his words, Yanyan’s face went stiff, her mind blank; she had planned to tell him once she was further along, unsure of his desire for the child.

"You, you found out." Yanyan released his hand, tears filling her clear eyes, and said with grievance, "I didn’t mean to hide it, but I was afraid..."
