Pampered By My Fake Boyfriend's Brother Chapter 414

On the sofa, the man’s face was grim, and he exuded a strong sense of oppression. Having just showered, his hair was still slightly damp, falling in messy strands across his forehead.

The man was wearing a loose robe that only reached his knees, revealing a small section of his legs.

When An Yin approached the man, her breath was uneven. Her wide, bright eyes swept over him, finally settling on his bandaged hand.

"Bao... cough, cough..." An Yin hurried to speak but hadn’t realized how dry her throat was, and she coughed as she struggled with her words.

Bao Shaojin’s face turned darker.

At this moment, the maid rushed over with a glass of juice, "Miss An, have a sip of juice first."

An Yin coughed a few times, politely accepting the glass from the maid, "Thank you!"

The maid slowly retreated.

As An Yin drank the juice, she glanced at the man out of the corner of her eye, noticing his gloomy and sullen expression. She took two small sips before turning to set the glass down.

Then, she took a small step forward and asked the man, "What happened to your hand?"

She hadn’t forgotten that during the rain, when the man covered her with his coat, the strong smell of blood had made her heart tighten.

Moreover, she had noticed a lot of bloodstains on her jacket when she took it off in the bathroom earlier.

Clearly, the man’s bleeding this time was significant.

"I accidentally cut it." Bao Shaojin said nonchalantly.

"How big is the wound?" An Yin blinked her clear, watery eyes, looking at him eagerly.

If she were not known for her innocence, such an expression in the eyes of another man might have been extremely provocative.

Upon hearing this, Bao Shaojin paused, his eyes deep. "Five centimeters." His brow gently lifted, and his words carried a hint of indifference.

An Yin mentally measured how long five centimeters was, then furrowed her brows deeply, "Does it hurt?"

"I’m a man." Bao Shaojin’s lips pursed lightly, his magnetic voice mixed with some ambiguous emotions.

An Yin looked at him puzzled, "Do men not fear pain?"

"For a man, this amount of pain is nothing." Bao Shaojin’s voice was very light.

The man’s deep tone made An Yin’s heart race wildly. She lowered her head, muttering under her breath, "Showing off..."

She thought the man hadn’t heard her, but little did she know he had caught every word.

Bao Shaojin’s lips curved into a barely noticeable arc. The little girl was becoming more and more impudent in front of him, even daring to retort now? Even so, there was no anger on his aloof face; instead, he felt indulgent.

"Sit down." Bao Shaojin looked at her thin frame and reminded her.

"Oh." An Yin was momentarily stunned before obediently sitting down.

At this moment, Bao Shaojin raised his brows, "Today Bao Cheng got engaged."

An Yin’s eyes shifted slightly, feeling a twinge of worry for Jiang Keke.

Seeing her remain silent, with a melancholy expression on her small face that was hard to miss, Bao Shaojin’s expression turned cold, "What, are you very sad?"

An Yin remained still, murmuring, "I just, just..." only worried about her good friend, An Yin added in her heart but dared not voice this to the man.

Seeing her sentence unfinished, Bao Shaojin furrowed his brows, his emotions somewhat restrained, "In any case, since he’s already engaged, when do you plan to resolve the entanglements between you and him?" Official source ıs 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝•𝖿𝗂𝗋𝖾•𝘯𝘦𝘵

His sharp, cold gaze swept over her face, not wanting to miss any of her expressions.

What Bao Shaojin didn’t know was that each of his words felt like an interrogation, making the already guilty An Yin even more flustered. She turned her head, meeting the man’s deep, dark eyes, then swiftly lowered her head, "Don’t force me."

Upon hearing her words, Bao Shaojin’s brows knit tighter and tighter, "Am I forcing you?"

He chuckled, yet his entire being exuded a cold aura.

Under the man’s powerful presence, An Yin shifted, biting her lip. She couldn’t lie; if the man continued to press her aggressively, she feared she wouldn’t be able to keep the "secret" between her and Bao Cheng.

"Answer me?" Bao Shaojin reached out, seized her slender wrist, and forcefully pulled her in front of him.

The little girl looked at him, panic-stricken.

Her mind was muddled, and where the man grasped her felt like a burning mark, the temperature scorching. She applied slight force to try and break free, but found the man’s hand was unwavering.

An Yin’s eyes darted around helplessly and accidentally caught sight of the bandaged hand. She gasped, "Bao Shaojin, blood..."

Her eyes widened in shock, exclaiming with alarm.

Bao Shaojin ignored this, enunciating each word, "Answer my previous question?" The man’s face was gloomy, his deep, ink-black eyes swirling with a near morbid obsession.

An Yin also sensed the man’s intensity. Under his gaze, her breathing quickened. When nervous, her mind worked slowly, and regarding the man’s question, it took her several seconds to recall it.

An Yin, like a little ostrich, shrank her head and murmured, "You didn’t force me; it was I who misspoke." The man’s gaze was terrifying, as if he wanted to swallow her whole. An Yin, frightened and uneasy, lowered her head, not daring to meet his cold gaze.

The little girl could indeed yield and adapt.

Bao Shaojin heard this and felt the sense of frustration grow even stronger. Yet, seeing the girl’s cautious demeanor, he couldn’t bring himself to reprimand her. Finally, he forcefully suppressed his anger.

"Bao Shaojin..." An Yin, seeing the man remain silent, said softly and gently, "Your wound is bleeding; shall we go to the hospital?"

Her tone was soft and carried a hint of pleading.

Bao Shaojin’s cold pupils swept towards her, "Stay here obediently, and tonight I’ll take you out."

The man’s tone shifted, confusing An Yin, "Where?"

Bao Shaojin’s expression was obscure, releasing her wrist slowly.

Once free, An Yin hurriedly moved to the side, her wrist faintly aching. Although the man hadn’t applied much pressure, her sensitivity to pain was higher than that of ordinary people. Even a light tap from him could be quite uncomfortable for her.

"You’ll find out." Bao Shaojin left an enigmatic statement before standing up and heading towards the bedroom.

An Yin sat on the sofa, looking bewildered.

She realized that the man always spoke in a somewhat inexplicable way, making him hard to understand, and she couldn’t guess his meaning. As she racked her brain to figure it out, she saw the man change into a black suit, accentuating his upright figure.

Bao Shaojin, passing through the hall, let his gaze brush over her before heading straight to the door.

An Yin, her hands resting on the back of the sofa, sat upright, craning her neck to watch where the man disappeared, gradually losing focus.
