When Nanxi returned to her room, Liang Qiaoqiao was still waiting there, asking her what had happened. Nanxi didn’t have time to explain much as she quickly rummaged through her wardrobe for clothes.
While Nanxi dressed, she said, "Cousin, I need to go out for a bit..."
"What happened? Is something wrong?"

Nanxi quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her phone and bag, and rushed out the door, leaving no time for Qiaoqiao to ask more questions.

Nanxi saw the man sitting in the backseat of the car, he seemed motionless, Mo Yan explained, "Mr. Lu is drunk, and also very tired, so he fell asleep."
Nanxi nodded, got into the car, and the moment she got in, she saw the man’s face reclining in there. She was momentarily stunned, and then leaned into her seat.
Mo Yan got into the in car and quickly started it.
Nanxi sat, glanced at the man next to her, tried to sit as far away as possible. However, the faint mint scent mixed with the smell of alcohol that radiated from him, seeped into her senses and disturbed her heart.
Nanxi felt a sudden sadness. She realized - this man called Lu Yinchu, was like a calamity in her life!

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, and just when she closed her eyes, she felt a heavyweight on her shoulder. She turned her head only to find that the man had rested his head on her shoulder!
Nanxi’s shoulder was slender and weak, she thought he must be uncomfortable. She reached out to push his head away but, unexpectedly, he grasped her extending hand tightly.
His breath brushed against her neck, mingling with a hint of fatigue. He said, "Just behave, don’t move."

She turned her head, looked at his face, readjusted her breathing so she wouldn’t get lost in his "beauty," and called out, "Lu Yinchu..."

Nanxi wanted to withdraw her hand from his, she thought it would take some effort, but unexpectedly, her hand slipped out easily, she turned in surprise to look at the man, only to find him staring intently at her...
