At noon, Uncle Wang came with lunch again, still servings for two which Nanxi naturally shared with Lu Yinchu!
She repeatedly went to his office, and the two chatted as they had lunch. Nanxi talked about how a colleague of hers was given a long holiday by the company due to pregnancy. Hearing this, Lu Yinchu raised his brows, "Oh, I know about this. I allowed it!"
Nanxi nodded, thinking it must have been him who granted the leave. Who else would dare to make such a decision without permission?
"So, Lu Yinchu, if I get pregnant, do you want me to keep working or stay at home and rest?"
Lu Yinchu glanced at her, "What do you want— to keep working or stay at home and rest?"
"Hmm!" Nanxi pondered seriously, then said, "If my health permits, I’d like to keep working!"
Lu Yinchu fed her a piece of beef, "Let’s discuss it after you get pregnant!"
Nanxi stuck her tongue out, that comment was no different than not saying anything at all!
She looked down and continued to eat.
"Also, Nanxi, there’s something I’d like to discuss with you..." Lu Yinchu suddenly said.
Nanxi looked up, "Ah? What is it?"
Lu Yinchu pursed his lips, tentatively asking, "In the future... could we live at home for two to three nights a week to keep Grandpa company... Is that okay with you?"
"Of course, I also want to spend more time with Grandpa!" Nanxi agreed readily.
Lu Yinchu smiled. Actually, he knew she would agree!
His hesitation was out of concern for Nanxi’s character— she’s a bit shy and reluctant to meet new people. Also, he worried about her bumping into someone unintentionally at home, such as Li Weihuan, Qi Qun, Li Mufang, who might come to visit Grandpa, and then run into Nanxi!

There was the sound of high heels approaching the doorway, which Nanxi found somewhat familiar. Turning her head, she saw a familiar figure. It was Han Baobao!
Han Baobao hadn’t changed into her work uniform, so evidently, she wasn’t here to work. Then why was she here?
Nanxi was a bit surprised and didn’t really understand.
"Nanxi, are you free to step out for a bit?" Han Baobao called out to her, her voice slightly cold. "Let’s talk!"
Nanxi glanced at the time and frowned, "Work starts in a few minutes!"
"It doesn’t really matter if you’re a few minutes late... but if you reject me today, you’ll regret it someday!"
In a coffee shop near the KING Corporation, Nanxi and Han Baobao sat down.
Actually, Nanxi thought that they could just find a quiet corner in the company to talk, but Han Baobao said that it’d be too dull and not quite her style.
Helplessly, they ended up here. Nanxi ordered a milk tea for herself, not daring to drink coffee!
Because she heard that drinking coffee can affect fertility!
Han Baobao ordered a Blue Mountain coffee and looked at her indifferently, "Nanxi, you are very happy now, aren’t you!"
Nanxi was puzzled by this comment, "Baobao, I don’t quite understand what you mean..."
"Yes, you really don’t!" Han Baobao laughed lightly, picked up her coffee cup, and took a sip. She slightly frowned, "It’s mediocre!"

Nanxi bit her lip. Lu Yinchu had met her in A County two years ago, in April. Back then, he decided to give up when he discovered she had a boyfriend.
However, a year and a half later, he meticulously planned everything, gradually drawing her into his trap. Evidently, he must have studied her quite thoroughly!
