After administering a series of treatments, Du Xiaoli also felt tired. Leaving the two doctors to pay attention to the condition of the injured, she went back to her room.
“Mistress, the hot water is ready, take a bath first.” Ying Ge mentioned the hot water she had brought to Du Xiaoli's room.
“Mm, I'm really tired tonight too.” Du Xiaoli craned her neck and said tiredly.
Xia Yuan and Ying Ge retreated back to their own rooms Alone in her room, Du Xiaoli took a good bath, and the fatigue on her body dissipated a lot. “Mistress, what are you talking about, how could there be a love interest. It’s that Xia Yuan met her brother,” Ying Ge said.
“Xia Yuan’s brother? Xia Yuan, how come I’ve never heard you say you have a brother?” This was the first Du Xiaoli had heard of Xia Yuan having a brother, how come she hadn’t heard her speak of this before? “If you met your brother you should be happy, why such a bitter face?”
Xia Yuan looked at Du Xiaoli, her face a bit worried. However, after moving her lips, she still didn't say anything.
“Mistress, it’s because Xia Yuan's brother is injured and it's quite serious– he's still unconscious. She wants to ask Mistress to go and take a look at her brother, but she feels embarrassed.” Ying Ge looked at Xia Yuan’s squirming look and simply spoke for her.
“Mistress has already been busy all night, how can I let Mistress continue to be tired.��� Xia Yuan vacillated.
She had watched how much Du Xiaoli had done tonight and knew how tired Du Xiaoli was, so she didn't want to add more to Du Xiaoli’s load. When she went out just now, Mu Shan had told her that Xia Hong was injured and had been unconscious, so that was why she was worried and was conflicted over whether to ask Du Xiaoli for help.
“Who is your brother?” Du Xiaoli asked.

Because the largest inn was already serving as Han Mingxiang’s resting place, they definitely couldn’t receive anyone else, so Luo Qi could only stay in other inns here.
Once Du Xiaoli heard this, she changed her clothes, took her cloak, and said, “Put something on, let's go. Ying Ge, you'd better stay here and keep an eye on the situation in the Princess's house.”
“Yes, mistress.” Ying Ge answered.
“Let's go.” Du Xiaoli put her cloak on and opened the door.
She first went to Han Mingxiang's room and spoke to her, telling her that she was going out and to find Ying Ge if there was anything. Then she went to speak to Ji Liufeng before leaving the inn with Xia Yuan.
The two of them arrived at the inn that Mu Shan had mentioned. Just as they entered, they saw Luo Qi coming out of the courtyard.
“Xiaoli, why are you here now?”
“Luo Qi-gege, I heard that Xia Yuan’s brother was injured and came over to take a look.” Du Xiaoli replied.
“Mm, then come up with me.”
Luo Qi took Du Xiaoli and the girls to the back courtyard. As soon as they entered they saw a person lying on the bed.
“I was going to wait until you came back from seeing off your relatives tomorrow to let you take a look at him.” Luo Qi said.
“How did he get hurt?” Du Xiaoli asked, pulling back the covers on Xia Hong and seeing several stab wounds on his body.
“When he was on a mission in Northern Yuan, he was injured by the barbarians there.” Luo Qi said, “By the time the three of us received news and rushed over, he was already injured. He later insisted on escaping back to Lu City with us and collapsed when he arrived here. The doctors here were all invited by me to see him, but he just couldn't regain consciousness.”
“Escaping?” Du Xiaoli keenly grasped the words in Luo Qi's words and asked, “You were chased?”
“Ahem, it wasn't exactly a chase, just a problem that arose in the last city.” Luo Qi coughed twice.
“Then did you get hurt?” Du Xiaoli asked.
“No, only Mu Shan has some wounds on his body, but none of them are serious. Since you’re here, take a look.” Seeing Du Xiaoli so nervous, Luo Qi's heart warmed.
“Mm, I'll check him first.” Du Xiaoli says, then sat on the ottoman and took Xia Hong's hand out to take his pulse. After a while she put it down, “The reason he's unconscious isn't because of the injuries on his body, it's because he's been poisoned.”
