The pharmacy was located in the suburbs, in a secluded place. An Yiqing’s plan was to walk for a while, and once she reached the main road, she could hail a taxi to go back.
However, having walked only a few steps, she saw that a car was parked at the end of the alley.
An Yiqing looked closely; it was a silver-black sports car, an Aston Martin. A man sat inside, watching her with a tender expression.
The girl was stunned, standing still as she regarded the man who had appeared before her in surprise.
Gu Yelin inside the car looked at the dazed An Yiqing and furrowed his brows. It was so cold, and if Tutu didn’t get inside soon, she would get sick.
He opened the car door and strode out. Approaching An Yiqing, he gently draped his coat over her.
Wrapped in the familiar warm scent, An Yiqing collected herself. Blinking her clear, limpid eyes, she asked in a daze, "Ah Lin, what are you doing here?"
Gu Yelin, looking at the girl’s charming appearance, gently kissed her forehead. His deep and pleasant voice slowly resonated, "I missed you. So I came."
Those simple six words made An Yiqing’s face flush and her heart race, filled with sweetness. Even in the subzero cold of winter, she didn’t feel the slightest chill.

Gu Yelin furrowed his brows, glancing at An Yiqing’s deflated stomach, "Tutu, haven’t you eaten?"
"Um... I was in a hurry at noon, so I didn’t have time to eat."

"Tutu, Auntie said you were in a rush this morning and didn’t eat breakfast either. Have you gone the whole day without eating anything?"

An Yiqing lifted her head, looking puzzled at the road which was not in the direction of the An Family Villa, "Ah Lin, where are you taking us?"
"I’m taking you to Old Zhang’s restaurant to eat. Didn’t you say a while back that you wanted to go?"
An Yiqing stared at Gu Yelin in a daze. Because he was driving, his expression was focused and his handsome profile was incredibly attractive, especially his tightly pressed thin lips, which conveyed his concern and tenderness.
They say that men with thin lips are cold-hearted. This saying isn’t wrong. Gu Yelin was a man of meager feelings; he dedicated his entire life and love to An Yiqing, displaying only indifference toward other women.
Old Zhang’s restaurant was still the same as it had been two months ago, with its tranquil courtyard and the vintage charm of its corridors. Only now, what had been a vibrant garden was covered with a blanket of white. Against the backdrop of the quaint red lanterns, the scene took on an even more distinctive flavor.
