Two days later, the house that Gu Yelin modified next to the An Family Villa was finally unsealed. The villa had been completed a week prior, but considering it had just been renovated, they decided to heed the experts’ advice and move in a week later.
This was An Yiqing’s first time walking into the villa these days.

As always, the exterior of the villa was simple, presenting an off-white color. From the outside, it looked clean and uncluttered.
The moment she opened the villa’s front door and stepped inside, An Yiqing was greeted by a warm yellow color. Different from Gu Yelin’s previous designs of black and white with sharp lines, this time, he focused more on a sense of warmth. Perhaps because of An Yiqing’s presence, Gu Yelin made the entire villa’s interior even softer.
Walking through the entrance, the first thing one saw was the spacious ground floor hall. White floors, beige sofas, and light-coffee-colored walls made it feel as if one was enveloped in warmth. One side of the hall had two guest rooms, suitable for maids. Beyond the hall lay the dining room and kitchen. The color scheme throughout was white and warm yellow, creating an atmosphere that was cozy and relaxed.
Then came the second floor.
The second floor mainly consisted of an office area. In a large study, there was a surprisingly big table. One half of it held Gu Yelin’s belongings, and the other half, An Yiqing’s. Even the books on the shelves were evenly split between Gu Yelin and An Yiqing. On the other side of the study, there was a set of technological equipment, which had always been Gu Yelin’s weapon—of course, the functions of these devices would be discussed later.
Of course, unlike the stodgy and lifeless studies. Gu Yelin specifically changed one wall into a floor-to-ceiling window. The dark floors matched with white curtains, and in the sunlight, it was very peaceful and warm. At the very center of the study was a small and exquisite set of sofas.
