"Very good, this one it is!"
Huang Yiyi made the decision, causing Sister Wang’s face to blossom into a smile.
"Ok, Miss Huang, please wait a moment; I’ll go handle the paperwork right away!"
Sister Wang lifted her leg, ticket book in hand, about to head to the cashier, but she hadn’t taken many steps before Yu Xiaoyu stopped her.
"Sister Wang, this car has already been sold," Yu Xiaoyu said to Sister Wang in a low voice.
"Sold? When did that happen? How come I don’t know about it?" Sister Wang’s eyebrows raised, and her expression turned a tad ugly.
"It was the two customers just now, they bought this model; I was about to go handle the paperwork."
Sister Wang turned her head to look at An Yiqing and Gu Yelin, who were standing by the car, and she couldn’t help but snort disdainfully.
"Xiao Yu, you’re too young, without experience; I understand that. Those two are clearly trying to punch above their weight class, only have enough money to buy a Volkswagen but insisting on wandering around in a Mercedes dealership. Don’t give them the car; Miss Huang wants it, and I need to go handle the paperwork right away." As she said this, Sister Wang roughly pushed Yu Xiaoyu aside with her hand and moved to walk forward.
Yu Xiaoyu stumbled from the push, failing to keep her balance, and her right hand reached out to grab Sister Wang. In the ensuing struggle, she twisted her ankle and fell to the ground with a ’thud’.
Gu Yelin and An Yiqing, who were having an intense conversation on a couch to one side of the car, heard the noise and quickly stepped forward to help Yu Xiaoyu up.
"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" An Yiqing helped Yu Xiaoyu up, gently patting the dust off her.
Yu Xiaoyu shook her head, grateful in her heart. But she didn’t have time to express her thanks; limping, she pulled on Sister Wang, urgently saying, "Sister Wang, you can’t do this. This lady reserved the car first."
It wasn’t the commission that had Yu Xiaoyu so anxious; she genuinely believed there should be an order of precedence. Sister Wang had previously ignored An Yiqing and Gu Yelin, and now she was attempting to take the car they had reserved. Yu Xiaoyu simply couldn’t tolerate such behavior.
"Oh my, what are you doing, girl?" Sister Wang stumbled from Yu Xiaoyu’s pull, then slapped her hand away from her arm, "Why are you so clueless? Miss Huang has taken a liking to this car, it’s a great honor for us. Besides, did you finish the paperwork for this car? It’s just a verbal order, which doesn’t count for anything."
An Yiqing, who had understood the whole situation, heard Sister Wang’s words, her eyes turned frosty, and she said coldly, "This car was the one we liked first, and we are the ones who wanted to buy it. How come it has become a verbal order that doesn’t count? Is this how you serve customers in your establishment?"
Sister Wang scrutinized An Yiqing’s attire; not a single branded piece, and yet she wants to buy this car? Wishful thinking!
"Miss, I think you don’t quite understand the price of this car," Sister Wang snickered sarcastically, lifting her chin with arrogance, "The base price of this car is 5.8 million, of course, this doesn’t include the license and registration fees. I believe, this price range might not be suitable for you. Our dealership, just walk a thousand meters east from the door, and you’ll find a Volkswagen 4S shop; you might want to look there. Miss Huang is interested in this sedan; perhaps you could bear the pain and give it up to her."
An Yiqing’s gaze grew colder, as if ice had formed in her eyes.
She had encountered more than her fair share of condescension, but never had anyone incited such disgust in her.
Watching the complacency on Sister Wang’s face, An Yiqing said leisurely, "What if I don’t give it up?"
"Don’t give it up?" Sister Wang laughed coldly, "Miss, I don’t think you understand. Miss Huang’s family is very powerful and influential. Us ordinary folks shouldn’t compete with them; you can’t win."
