Chapter 25: Night Gathering
Some reasons for decisions.

Mira’s choice was not just any random impulse decision, it was actually a wish she truly yearned for.
So, the incident goes as follows.

3 months before Aurelion met Mira in the market. —
Rowan was out to find food the two of them. Mira was scrapping dumpsters as usual to find anything that can cover them during night cold or something worth enough to gain few bucks for them.
Mira had walked certain length that she was already at the edge of the alley. She opened the lid of the trash can and was looking inside when suddenly, a carriage went past her spraying all the mud on her clothes due to speed. She turned in stimulus and saw a boy same age as her was reading a book inside the moving carriage. At that instant her interest in books grew.

"That’s wonderful to hear. I shall tell Hans to make all the preparations." Aurelion smiled.
Then he turned to Rowan.
"AS FOR YOU—" He paused.
"YOUR TRAINING STARTS FROM TOMORROW."
"Training?" Rowan responded.
"You do remember that you are going to be my knight from now on, right? Then, obviously need to train first." Aurelion grinned.
"What will I be learning then?" He asked.
"You will get to know your schedule tomorrow, just be ready at 6 in the morning." Aurelion replied.
"You don’t have problem with being a swordsman, right?" Aurelion asked.
"No, since I have already given my word, it does not matter to me what role you give to me. I will fulfill my duties properly." Rowan kneaded.
"Nice, all is good then." Aurelion smiled.
"Well, that’s not all. I also called you guys because I have heard that you have denied all the servants when they come to tend to you."
He added.
"What you have given to us is already a fortune, we dare not ask for more." Rowan replied.
WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS GUY? WASN’T HIS CHARACTER SETTING A TSUNDERE ONE, WHY IS HE ACTING SO SINCERE SUDDENLY? YO, AUTHOR DID YOU GET THE SCRIPT WRONG AGAIN?

"Anyway, here."
Aurelion signalled Lyra.
Lyra then brought a trolley. On it multiple items were placed, some dishes were covered by plates.
Lyra came closer. The trolley was actually full of sweets and desserts. She served both Rowan and Mira, put serviette and napkins on them. And of course took some sweets for herself.
"Have these." Aurelion said.
Mira’s eyes lit up. She tried to hide it tho and said. "There is....rweally no need for twess."
Aurelion smiled.
"This is my welcoming party for you, guys. REJOICE."
Then, all of them together along with Lyra spent hours talking with each other, eating sweets and having lots of fun.
After few hours—
"It is quite late now, your highness. You have already skipped your night training, I would suggest that you have some rest now."
Lyra chuckled and then continued.
"Well, looks like somebody is already resting here though." She giggled.
Mira was already half asleep on the sofa. Funnily enough, she still had some sweet syrup dripping from her lips and a piece of pastry was still in her mouth.
Lyra giggled again, then gently lifted Lyra in her arms.
"I will carry her with me, Rowan you follow along."
"Then, I shall take my leave, your highness." Lyra bowed.
Aurelion lifted his eyes in acknowledgement.
"Have a good night and proper rest." Lyra added.
"Likewise, Lyra." Aurelion replied.
Aurelion finally went back to his bedroom.
Quite peacefully.
Lyra reached Rowan and Mira’s room. She put her down and covered the blankets. Then, closed the window near her bed so, Mira does not feel cold.
"Rowan, *yawn* I am going to sleep, if you need anything do not call me, I would not come, call some other guy ,yeah but if Mira needs something I’ll come." She said and simply left the room.
"HUH, JUST WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?" Rowan reacted.
"Whatever." And he went to bed too.
Lyra was walking towards her room.
"I should probably check on his highness first if he needs anything or has covered himself or not." She said to herself.
Lyra went towards Aurelion’s chambers.
She was expecting a quiet, calm and peaceful environment there. One, where she could simply enter without disturbing anyone late at night.
She reached the door.
Then, suddenly something snapped.
BOOM
Aghast she shouted "YOUR HIGHNESS".
