Yue Lingyin shrieked. "Scared by a pharmacologist? Little brother, aren't you too lame?"
Qi Sheng bitterly smiled, "Zhongzhou is a highly-populated place, and that pharmacy is one of the best in Tianyun City. Of course I'm no match for their pharmacologist."
The Heavenly Sea Pavilion's strength was their secret way of making medicine. They had the best of the best and the methods were pa.s.sed down from generation to generation. What they had was certainly not anything that a pharmacy could overtake. However, considering Qi Sheng's youth and position in the Harmonization Realm, he was definitely not as experienced or as powerful as the older generation.
Seeing Qi Sheng admit his shortcomings in front of everyone, Shao Zhengyang sighed. He's really a disciple from a top sect.
"What about the girl you mentioned? Yue Lingyin smiled. "How did she successfully win the compet.i.tion?"
"I was just about to fill you in with that information!" Qi Sheng laughed as he sat beside Kou Wei. "I was out with a bunch of juniors to have a look at the beautiful Tianyun City. It was out of my expectations when we pa.s.sed a pharmacy with flag hanging……"
Qi Sheng spoke well. Everyone's attention was on him.
"Uh huh? What happened after that?" Totally absorbed in the story, Yue Lingyin couldn't wait and hurried Qi Sheng to continue. "Did the pharmacy deny the fact that they lost? Or did something bad happen to the girl?"
Looking at her twinkling eyes, Qi Sheng sighed. "Senior Sister Yue, why don't you be more optimistic? That girl look doesn't look that simple. I think that she's here to attend the Qilin festival. So even if the pharmacologist had support, they wouldn't have dared to offend her as they pleased."
This made Yue Lingyin pout. She expected something more exciting. "No fight at the end feels so empty……."
Qi Sheng ignored her and continued his storytelling, "In fact, the boss of the pharmacy is generous. He granted her a huge reward and bought the recipe at a high price."
The rest nodded. The boss was indeed smart. Even though the signboard had been "smashed", he could earn more by doing so.
"Did that girl sell it?"
"Of course she wouldn't. Such a good pill and it's her secret recipe, why would she?"
Qi Sheng shook his head. "Nope, she mentioned that she could sell the recipe, but even with the recipe, they wouldn't be able to create the effect. She also said that she was telling them because she didn't want to lie."
Everybody was taken aback by the information. Even with the recipe, it wouldn't have the same effect? How is that possible?
"The boss refused to believe it and insisted on buying it, so she sold it… She even added that since there wouldn't be an effect, she would only take it at half the price."
The ending of the story left everyone in shock.
Your secret recipe, either sell it or don't. Why would you only sell half?
"Sheng, " Kou Wei interrupted. "Did you get her contact details?"
Qi Sheng sighed. "I wanted to, but when I went to look for her, she had already left."
"Such a pity." Yue Lingyin sighed in regret.
Of course it was a pity. Not only because they didn't get to know this girl, but they also didn't know her master. Her skills looked no different than a beginner and yet she had such a strong recipe. She must have had an extremely good pharmacologist as her master.
Silence engulfed the room for a moment before Shao Zhengyang cut it off. "Brother Qi, you said that she's called Miss Lu, right?"
"Yes!" Qi Sheng turned to him. "Does this brother perhaps know her?"
"I'm not sure though." Shao Zhengyang started slowly. "I only feel that your description matches one of my juniors."
This sentence enlightened Qi Sheng as he exclaimed, "Oh yes, she wore clothes similar to yours! Brother, which clan are you from?"
"Nine Jade Palace." Shao Zhengyang squeezed a smile.
Is Nine Jade Palace that small? Even the Heavenly Sea Pavilion disciple didn't recognize them.
He sighed as he turned to look at Kou Wei. "Brother Kou, if it is one of the disciples of my clan, I'm almost certain that she's that Junior Sister Lu."

When Lu Mingshu came out of the pharmacy, she made numerous turns and walked through a few alleys to make sure that she was not being followed. Then she made her way back to the main street.
She shook the pouch on her wrist. The sound that the mystic crystals in her pouch made when they collided with one another made her feel cheerful.
Lu Mingshu received more than what she had she expected.
The pill that she had taken out was just a Congeal Const.i.tuent Pill. A few years back, she received from the Heavenly Wheel to develop pills herself. But after the incident where she was cheated on, she had given up on it. Yet she never expected to earn so much from her disappointment.
The Congeal Const.i.tuent Pill was just a basic Elixir with ordinary ingredients and it was easy to make. It was something that was invaluable in Xianxia. However, compared to the other medicine here, it was superior.
Since the Hall of Immortals wanted the recipe, she sold it. However, with the different methods, the effect wouldn't be there. Lu Mingshu made herself clear, but since they insisted, that was their problem.
Anyway, if it couldn't be an Elixir, it was a better pill than the others out there in the Inner Breath Realm. The Hall of Immortals wouldn't be at a loss, because it still would have better effects and ordinary ingredients. It was worth the money.
She went to the shop she visited with Tan Yubing yesterday.

Lu Mingshu smiled and stroked it.
Nine Jade Palace may be dependant on others, but they had the best beast. A light shone brightly and Little Daze was sucked into the portable stable.
The light dispersed and Lu Mingshu put the stable on her hand, which turned into a bracelet.
"Can you feel anything, Little Daze?"
She could feel that it was elated.
"From now on you will live here. I would bring you out if the conditions allow it."
Little Daze immediately sent a signal from the bracelet.
Lu Mingshu looked helpless as she nodded. "Yes, yes, yes, I will get your supper done in no time."

She entered the Heavenly Wheel as soon as she reached her room.
After the Heavenly Door Compet.i.tion, she owed eight hundred and ninety-nine points. After three months of rest and the journey, it was a thousand and four hundred.
But five points had been taken off, which put a smile on Lu Mingshu's face.
Her guess was indeed correct. Success in real life meant that she would gain points in Heavenly Wheel. But one round was only five points...
She was going to continue competing. This was just the beginning, the more she wins, the more famous she would become, which also meant more points. There were ten more days till the Qilin festival — enough for her to complete her plan……
