Phoenix Reborn In One Piece Chapter 148

After Ryuuen hung up the phone, everyone on the ship except Robin immediately had a murderous look in their eyes.

Having been with Ryuuen for so long, they'd all grown bold.

It didn't matter if you were a Celestial Dragon—if you crossed them and they could take you down, they'd do it without hesitation.

"Um... guys... you're not planning to go after this Isred guy, are you?" Robin couldn't help but ask, sensing the strange atmosphere.

"He dared to ruin our friendly relationship with the World Government. He's got it coming," Kuina said coldly.

Seeing that no one disagreed with Kuina, Robin was shocked.

Even though she'd learned after joining the Dream Exploration Team that they had some control over a high-ranking Celestial Dragon, she never imagined they'd actually consider killing one.

Now, it seemed her crewmates were far bolder than she'd thought, which both surprised and impressed her.

Robin realized she'd joined a truly extraordinary team.

"Let's not rush this. We'll deal with it once we reach Sabaody Archipelago. For now, Skypiea is our priority," Ryuuen said, refocusing everyone.

True, while they all wanted to take down Isred, they weren't bold enough to storm Mary Geoise just yet. Follow current ɴᴏᴠᴇʟs on ɴovᴇl(F)ɪre.ɴet

The crew got back to work, and by the afternoon, the Dream Exploration Team's ship had its wings fully installed.

The thought of heading to Skypiea the next day filled everyone with excitement, as if they could already see the mysterious skies and the wonders of the floating island.

As the crew prepared to head back to their villa inn, something unusual caught the attention of the people at the port of Jaya.

Many stared in confusion at the ship's newly attached wings. They'd never seen anything like it.

Were these people seriously trying to make their ship fly?

Just as the onlookers were pondering this, the sound of a ship cutting through the waves echoed across the port.

Everyone turned to see a menacing pirate ship slowly approaching.

The ship was entirely black, with a massive skull figurehead at the bow. Its sides were adorned with sharp fangs, and at the stern were three enormous red cannons.

The most eye-catching part of the ship was its sail. Besides the pirate flag, it bore the emblem of one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!

"This place really is a paradise for pirates!" Bellamy laughed arrogantly from the bow of the ship.

Kuina, hearing his voice, frowned slightly. His tone was so obnoxious that she suddenly felt the need to put on a show.

Bellamy was indeed feeling full of himself.

This time, if he passed the test, he would officially become one of Doflamingo's top subordinates. Just the thought of working under Doflamingo filled him with uncontrollable excitement.

But then, Bellamy suddenly felt an overwhelming presence locking onto him. He quickly looked up and saw a sharp, white streak of light slicing through the air from a distance.

"Crap! Dodge it!" Bellamy's face turned pale as he shouted the order.

But it was too late. The light cut through his pirate ship at an incredible speed, splitting it cleanly in two!

The scene fell into dead silence. Everyone stared in shock as Bellamy's ship broke apart, slowly splitting into two halves.

"A flying... slash..."

"That slash just now... she's definitely a master swordsman!"

Someone in the crowd finally snapped out of their daze, muttering with trembling lips.

Hearing this, the others also came to their senses, their faces filled with fear.

"Damn it!" Bellamy finally regained his composure, glaring at his ruined ship with a dark expression.

"Why did you destroy my ship?!"

He turned to Kuina, demanding an answer with rage in his voice.

Kuina glanced at him coldly and replied indifferently, "Why? Maybe... because your laugh was annoying!"

"Just because my laugh was annoying?" Bellamy asked through gritted teeth, his voice low and furious.

His eyes burned with anger and disbelief, as if he couldn't accept such a reason.

Kuina narrowed her eyes slightly and added coldly, "Yes, that's the reason. Oh, and you're ugly too."

Bellamy clenched his fists, his entire body shaking with rage.

"You bitch!" he snarled. "How dare you treat my ship !"

He glared at Kuina, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

Kuina gripped her sword tightly with both hands and swung it with force. A blade of energy shot out from the sword, carrying a sharp, overwhelming force. It sliced the already broken ship into four pieces!

The two halves of the ship were sent flying in opposite directions by the powerful impact, sending water and wood splinters everywhere.

Bellamy, who had been standing on the bow, was thrown backward by the sudden force and plunged headfirst into the sea.

The crew of the Bellamy Pirates panicked when they saw their captain being flung into the water.

They stared in terror at the petite, cold-eyed girl on the shore, their hearts filled with fear.

This girl had effortlessly defeated their captain, leaving them utterly stunned.

Kuina stood quietly on the shore, her sharp sword in hand, radiating an intimidating aura. Her cold eyes showed no mercy for the pirates, casting an invisible pressure over the entire harbor.

The harbor was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Everyone was pale and trembling, staring at Kuina in fear as if she were a demon. They were too scared to move, afraid they might become her next target.

Just then, Nami suddenly remembered something and shouted, "Wait, Kuina! I think this guy has a bounty on him!"

She quickly opened her dimensional space and pulled out a stack of bounty posters, each detailing the rewards for various figures at sea. Nami frantically flipped through them, searching for Bellamy's information.

After some effort, she finally found Bellamy's bounty poster and exclaimed excitedly, "Found it! He's Hyena Bellamy, and his bounty is... 50 million Berries!"

Hearing the amount, Nami's eyes lit up, and a delighted smile spread across her face. This was a significant sum of money, and if they could claim it, it would be a huge win for the Dream Exploration Team.

Thinking this, Nami couldn't help but grin.

The rest of the Dream Exploration Team rolled their eyes at Nami's money-loving antics. Meanwhile, Hog jumped into the sea and, after a moment, tossed a figure onto the shore. It was Bellamy, now unconscious.
