Phoenix Reborn In One Piece Chapter 19

The execution platform in Loguetown was a very special place!

Ever since the Pirate King Roger was executed here, crowds of people came every day to see it.

Some came out of curiosity, some came to curse Roger, as he started the Great Pirate Era, and some saw it as the starting point of their ambitions.

Every day, many ambitious people came here and then set off for the Grand Line to search for the legendary One Piece.

But Ryuen and Nami came here out of simple curiosity.

"Wow, this is where the Pirate King was executed?" Little Nami looked up, staring at the high platform.

"Hahaha... Hey, kid, are you planning to become a pirate too?" At this moment, a man over three meters tall walked over.

His eyes were very serious, staring intently at Ryuen and Nami.

Ryuen frowned. This loud voice made Nami quickly cover her ears!

Seeing this man appear, many of the people who had been gathered there turned pale and quickly ran away.

Ryuen's instincts told him that this man was not ordinary.

He felt a sense of pressure from this man.

"Who are you! What does it matter to you if I become a pirate or not!" Little Nami hid behind Ryuen, angrily retorting.

This guy's voice was too loud, it had just scared her. She wasn't going to be nice to him!

"Sis, let's go, ignore the loudmouth." Ryuen subtly pulled Nami, ready to slip away.

"Loudmouth! Bleh!" As they left, Nami turned back and made a face at him.

"Hahaha! What an interesting kid." The loudmouth laughed.

He was referring to Ryuen, sensing something unusual about him.

"Captain Hobart, is there something wrong with those two kids? Should we bring them back?" an officer in a Marine uniform asked.

If Ryuen heard this, he would definitely guess the identity of the loud voice.

In Loguetown, the rank of colonel, who else could it be but the base commander stationed here?

"No need, no need, we're not catching all the bad guys. How's the plan going?" Colonel Hobart asked with a smile.

"Yes, Colonel Hobart! Our men have surrounded the pirate ships at the port. And we have warships offshore, they won't escape this time! Lieutenant Commander Lamy said we can act now!" The captain reported immediately.

"Hahaha! Then, send all these nasty pirates to the underwater prison!" Colonel Hobart looked sharply towards the port and gave the order.

"Yes, Colonel Hobart!" The captain was very excited.

As long as they caught the pirate crew passing through here, his rank would quickly rise, so the Marines here were eager to catch pirates.

Soon, a lively pirate-catching operation began in Loguetown.

Many pirate crews were caught at the starting point of their dreams before they even entered the Grand Line.

Ryuen and Nami sensed everything happening in Loguetown from the alternate space.

He didn't expect that the loud voice was actually the base commander of Loguetown.

No wonder he felt a bit of pressure in front of the loud voice.

But now, the opportunity had come.

"Nami, we can go to the Marine base now. Hopefully, we can find the training manual we need this time!" Ryuen said softly.

"Training manual? Got it! Hehehe~" Little Nami's eyes flashed with excitement.

That loud voice scared her, so taking the Marine base's sea chart shouldn't be too much, right?

The two kids saw the cunning look in each other's eyes.

"Hey, Nami, let's go find that loud voice's office first!"

"Yes, leave it to me!"

They both chuckled mischievously, and then Nami reached out and opened an air door.

Outside the air door was the Marine base in Loguetown!

Considering there might be surveillance Den Den Mushi in the base, Ryuen and Nami decided to disguise themselves.

Nami put on a mask and a large robe, while Ryuen carried Nami on his shoulder. From the outside, they looked like an adult.

This might not fool the sharp readers, but it was enough to fool the people here!

After making two holes in the middle of the robe, Ryuen carried Nami and tiptoed out of the alternate space.

After confirming it was safe, they finally managed to enter Hobart's office!

Time was tight, and they didn't know when Hobart would return, so the two quickly started searching the office.

"Ryuen, come and see if this is what you're looking for?" Little Nami found a notebook in Hobart's desk.

"Let me see!" Ryuen immediately ran over to check. The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the novᴇl(ꜰ)ire.ɴet

He opened the notebook and found it recorded some of Hobart's training techniques and tips for training Marines.

Flipping to the end, Ryuen finally saw the records about Marine Rokushiki, and to his surprise, there were also Hobart's notes on Haki training!

"This is it! Great job, Nami, you're my lucky charm!" Ryuen was very excited and praised Nami generously.

Although it only recorded four of the Marine Rokushiki techniques: Tekkai, Rankyaku, Geppo, and the Soru that Ryuen needed, it was enough for Ryuen's needs.

Not to mention the training methods for Haki, both Armament Haki and Observation Haki, which he needed now. Ryuen felt very satisfied!

"Hmph! Of course, my luck is super good!" Nami proudly raised her little head.

Throwing the notebook into Nami's alternate space, Ryuen put Nami on his shoulders, and they started looking for the things Nami needed.

"Hurry up, hurry up!"

"Everyone, support the port immediately!"

"Everyone, move out now and support Captain Hobart at the port!"

The two little ones had just come out when they heard the shouts of the marines from the office building.

"Hey, who are you? What are you doing here?"

A marine saw the sneaky "masked person" and immediately ran towards them.

Oh no, we've been discovered!

"Uh? Well... I don't know who I am..." Nami panicked when she was discovered.

"You're an intruder! Someone has invaded the base!" The marine shouted.

Instantly, the base was filled with the sound of alarms!

Ryuen quickly retreated to the corner of the corridor, luring the marine over.

"Stop! Don't run!" Sure enough, the marine took the bait.

As soon as the marine chased in, Ryuen knocked him out with a single hand chop.

"We've been discovered, what should we do, Ryuen?" Nami asked anxiously.

"Don't worry, let's go back to the alternate space first." Ryuen remained calm.

With Nami's Door-Door Fruit, no one here could find them.

Nami immediately opened a door on the wall, and they both hid in the alternate space.
