Waves crashed against the frozen beach as members of the Dream Team went about their tasks. Nami was already drawing a sea chart, while Ryuen was helping her.
Suddenly, a huge black eagle appeared in the sky nearby.
Everyone except Daisy, who was still in the lab, looked up.
"She’s finally here. I thought she wouldn’t arrive until tomorrow. By the way, Ryuen, she still doesn’t have a bounty yet, right?" Nojiko asked while watching the giant eagle approach.
"No, she doesn’t. She was taken away back then, so maybe the Marines no longer see her as part of our Dream Team," Ryuen replied quietly.
With a cheerful cry, the black eagle swooped down and quickly landed on the shore. Then a little girl, munching on blueberries, jumped off its back.
"Sugar! You’re finally back!" Reinahappily ran toward Sugar.
Since Sugar had been gone, Reinahadn’t had anyone to play with. Even though Sugar was actually much older than her, she still looked like a little kid.
More importantly, Sugar was also happy to play with her.
"Sugar, long time no see! I heard you had a great time up on Skypiea?" Ryuen smiled at her.
The others also stopped what they were doing for a moment and greeted her.
"Ugh, Ryuen, you’re always bossing me around when you need something! How could you? Don’t forget, I’m just a cute little girl now!" Sugar walked over with Reina, holding her hand, and started complaining to Ryuen right away.
"That’s just how it is—if you’re good at something, you get more work. And your Devil Fruit is super useful." Ryuen laughed, completely unfazed.
Back when they were building the new Sky Island, they needed a lot of labor.
So Ryuen had the Marines they controlled gather up a bunch of pirates and criminals, send them to an island, and then had Sugar turn them all into toys. After that, Black Hawk transported those toys up to the new Sky Island.
Sugar had been staying up there until now, with help from the people of Skypiea.
The control over the toys was handed over to the Sky Islanders too.
When it comes to building things on a Sky Island, nobody knows more than the people of Skypiea.
"Ignore him, Sugar. Tell us—how’s everything going up there?" Nami gave Ryuen a glare, then looked at Sugar.
The others were curious too.
"Just like the plan said, the clouds we made can hold up to 10 islands now."

"They’re moving pretty fast. Looks like you’ll have to make a trip, Kuina. As for the islands, just find some resource-rich ones in the Calm Belt." Ryuen was a bit surprised. The toy labor force was really efficient!
"I’ll head out once Daisy finishes the antidote for the poison gas," Kuina nodded.
Even though the orphanage in East Blue was safe for now, Akainu had already shown hostility after becoming Fleet Admiral.
But sooner or later...
They would need to find more Poneglyphs, learn more about the lost history, and maybe even find the final island, Raftel.
When that time comes, the World Government definitely won’t just sit back and watch.
So before the World Government decides to go after the Dream Exploration Team, they had to build up the new Sky Island—at least enough so that they could live on it without relying on others. Food, water, shelter—it didn’t need to be fancy, just self-sufficient.
With Visalia’s climate tech helping them, Ryuen believed they could grow all kinds of crops there in the future too.
"Now that Sugar’s back, I say we throw a party today!" Leah said with a big smile.
"I’ll make a meal that’ll blow everyone away!" Anya replied right away, getting pumped at the mention of a party.
"Sugar, you’re back!" Just as Anya finished speaking, Daisy came out of the lab.
"Speak of a party and here comes the foodie! So? Did the antidote work?" Anya laughed.
"Well?" Ryuen quickly asked too.
The others all looked at Daisy, full of anticipation. Only Sugar looked a bit confused, since she had just gotten back—but she didn’t care much as long as she had blueberries.
Reinanoticed her expression and quickly explained things to her.
"Of course I pulled it off! But making enough antidote is going to take some time." Daisy said proudly, her chubby face glowing with confidence.
"Daisy, you’re amazing!"
"You finished it this fast? Daisy, you’re amazing~~~"
When Daisy said it was done, everyone got really excited and started praising her.
"Anya, don’t forget what you promised me. I want to eat a bunch of delicious food," Daisy reminded her with a smile.
"Don’t worry, don’t worry."
"I’ll make sure the feast makes you happy. I’ve been working on a lot of new dishes these past few days. You just take a break while I start cooking," Anya said, patting her chest with confidence.
"Great, hehe~" Daisy was all smiles, excited to try the new food.
Everyone went off to help Anya.
But she only let Nojiko, Nami, and Robin stay in the kitchen. The others got kicked out—otherwise, her food might get eaten before it was even ready.
Just then, as Ryuen and the others came out, a warship appeared on the sea.

"No need to be like that. After all, we’re talking about the new Fleet Admiral of the Marines. Let’s at least show some respect. Everyone, let’s welcome Fleet Admiral Akainu!" Ryuen suddenly shouted with a strange smile.
The rest of the Dream Team looked at Ryuen with surprise.
Out at sea, Akainu stood at the front of the warship. Hearing Ryuen’s shout, he grinned with the cigar still in his mouth. It was a weird, twisted smile.
