“They’re all your children?”
Meng Lei’s expression became very interesting.
How many piglets were in the sinkhole? It should be no less than a million, right? And they’re all the Ancient Demon Pig’s children?

“Yes, Master!”
Bailey seemed proud of himself. “In our race, whoever reproduces more will have more prestige, and it means that they are more capable!”
“Some unique standards!”
As he continued forward, Meng Lei saw a bunch of seductively dressed ladies. They were either fat ladies with huge waists or bigger and taller than Zhang Fei...
Each of them looked fierce-looking, but they all looked at Bailey Yale. This made Meng Lei so uncomfortable that he broke out in cold sweat.
Bailey seemed used to it though, and he introduced them to Meng Lei. “Master, they’re all my wives!”
“Can... Can tell!”
Meng Lei wiped his forehead and said untruthfully, “You have so much luck with women!”
“Of course! At our Pighead Ridge, who isn’t envious of me? Envious of my 129,600 beautiful wives?” Bailey said proudly.
“You’re really blessed then!”
Just then, a cold, eerie voice rang.
“Where’s the Demon God Bailey of the Pighead Ridge?”
Upon hearing it, Bailey’s face became awful. “Damn these bastards!”
“Who’s looking for you?” Meng Lei raised an eyebrow.
“Other than the Ice Demon Guards, who else?” Bailey gritted his teeth. “We Pighead Ridge belonged to the Dark Hell Demonic Kingdom’s Ice Demon Prefecture. We have to pay tributes to them every year, and the Ice Demon Guards are the ones collecting them.”
“I see.”
Meng Lei nodded slowly.
“These bastards are bloodsuckers. Half of the tribute I pay enters their pockets. They are so avaricious, but we can only suffer in silence since they represent the prefecture!” Bailey loathed them.
“Let’s go out and check it out!”
They came to the sky above the sinkhole and saw a squad of demons made of ice. They had horns and wore silver armor—the Ice Demons!
There were not many, only 20 demons, and almost all of them were lesser deity-level Great Demon Lords. The one in the front was the strongest, an intermediate deity-level Demon God!
“Demon God Bailey, how are the preparations for today’s tribute?”
The Ice Demon God cast a glance at Meng Lei before ignoring him and continued looking at Bailey Yale as it spoke in a lofty tone.
“All here!”
Bailey took a breath and threw a spatial ring containing the tributes casually.
The Ice Demon God caught the ring and began checking. After a while, it frowned slightly. “Bailey Demon God, the tributes you prepared aren’t enough!”
“Not enough?” Bailey’s expression changed. “Demon God Isiah, the tributes were prepared according to past years’ standards. Why is this not enough now suddenly?”
“Oh my useless brains, how could I forget. Really shouldn’t!” Demon God Isiah smacked its forehead. “You might not know this Demon God Bailey. My Master had ordered to double this year’s tributes!”
“Double?”
Bailey Yale could no longer hold in his anger. “Demon God Isiah, there was no change in the number of tributes for over 10,000 years, so why was it increased all of a sudden? Plus, if the Prefecture Master did increase the number of tributes, please show your official papers!”
Isiah’s expression turned cold, and it bellowed, “Demon God Bailey, are you questioning Master’s orders? You better not make me complain to Master and sentence you for blasphemy!”
“Hmph! Without seeing the official papers, I won’t increase the tributes!” Bailey said coldly. “Please leave Demon God Isiah!”
“How impudent!”
Isiah bellowed, “Demon God Bailey, how dare you question Master’s orders! Come, take him down and bring him back to the prefecture for Master to decide his fate!”
He glared at Bailey coldly. “If he resists, execute him at once!”
“Yes, sir!”
The squadron of Ice Demon Guards responded affirmatively and swarmed toward Bailey. Their eyes were ferocious, provocative, and fearless.
Even though they were lesser deities who were much weaker than Demon God Bailey, they were not afraid whether Bailey would resist them!
They were the Ice Demon Guards who represented the Ice Demon Prefecture, after all. If Bailey dared to resist them, it would be no different than provoking the prefecture and becoming an enemy.
Opposing the Ice Demon Prefecture... meant a death sentence!
“Bastard!”
Bailey clenched his fists tightly, enraged. Flames of rage were suppressed inside as he had the urge to kill all of them.
However, once the Ice Demon Guards charged toward him, he was like a leaking balloon and gave up resistance completely.
“We are sorry, Demon God Bailey.”
The squad swarmed and took down Bailey immediately and seized him.
“No matter how powerful you are, you will still bow down before us, the Ice Demon Guards!”
“I’m really sorry, Master!” Bailey laughed bitterly. “I can’t oppose the prefecture, or else not just myself, my entire family will be wiped out!”
“Bailey, I understand your feelings. But sometimes, too much giving in will only make the situation worse as they will only exploit you even more!”
Meng Lei shook his head and cautioned, “Appropriate resistance is very necessary!”
Upon hearing Meng Lei’s words, Bailey let out a wry laugh.
Isiah’s expression turned icy once again, and his eyes turned savage. “Who are you?”
“The one that will kill you,” Meng Lei said calmly as a terrifying aura swept across like an imposing tsunami wave crashing toward Isiah.
“Great... Great Demon God!”
Upon sensing Meng Lei’s aura, Demon God Isiah’s teeth chattered with horror in its eyes. “You’re a G-Great Demon God!”
“Just die!”
Meng Lei was in no mood to speak with such pawns any longer and sent a slap. Isiah was frightened badly, yelling hoarsely, “No! You can’t kill me! I’m an Ice Demon Prefecture Guard, so if you dare to kill me, the Prefecture Master will not let—”
Crackle!
It did not manage to finish the sentence as Meng Lei’s palm arrived. Demon God Isiah was squashed into bits with a crackle.
“M-murder!”
“Captain was murdered!”
The Ice Demon Guards’ squad was aghast as they shivered in fear. They would never have imagined that someone would actually oppose them and kill their captain. It was absolutely audacious and perverse!
“Hand over all the tributes you have collected, and I won’t kill you.” Meng Lei looked at the guards.
“The tributes are all in the captain’s hands!” said an Ice Demon with a trembling voice.
Meng Lei grabbed casually and pulled out a few dozen spatial rings. As his divine cognition scanned, it sensed huge amounts of tributes.
“Get lost,” Meng Lei said lightly.
“Yes, yes!”
