Lu Hualiang was waiting for his wife when suddenly, a woman’s playful laughter sounded beside him.
Turning his head, he saw Yan Weiyang had already walked up to his side, and his brows instantly furrowed.
"Director Lu, long time no see," Yan Weiyang greeted him with a smile.
Lu Hualiang nodded indifferently as a response and then continued to look in the direction from which Xia Weibao was coming.

Just as she saw her dear husband waiting for her, ready to rush over for kisses, hugs, and to be lifted in celebration, she saw a woman walking over to him.

However, the next second, he saw her dodge away.
Lu Hualiang’s face immediately fell.
Then, his phone pinged with a text message.
"Honey, drive around and pick me up."
After glancing at someone in the parking lot, he turned and got into the car.
He didn’t even spare Yan Weiyang a glance.
No sooner had Lu Hualiang started the engine than he received another text from Xia Weibao, "Roll down the passenger-side window."
Lu Hualiang furrowed his brow, not understanding what she wanted, but he still rolled down the window.
Then, a slender figure jumped in through the window...

Lu Hualiang reached out a hand in time to catch her, her head hitting his palm and cushioning the blow, thus avoiding a dizzy spell.
