"The next benefit would these lands. After me; you, Red, and Blue would be the sole owner of these lands and they would be shared equally. If you become the Pokemon master then you would have 60% share of these lands. You guys can divide it as you like. All these facilities would be shared by you 3.
And the last benefit would be a Pokemon. I gave Blue a Squirtle and Red a Charmander as their starter. You have already started your journey and have plenty of Pokemons. I wanted to give you a Bulbasaur with monstrous potential. But you already have a Bulbasaur. So, what kind of Pokemon do you want? I have many eggs in this land and many baby Pokemons. Their names and description of them are in my database.
You are free to search for it and can take one Pokemon. I suggest you get an egg or a Baby Pokemon cause they would be much more emotionally attached to you in the future and you could personally shape them from the beginning."
Axel started to think about the long speech that Oak had just given. There were five benefits:
1. Oak's backing and support from the league and gym leaders.
2. He would be a priority to get the resources and visit unknown lands for unique things
3. He would get a castle and can shift his family out here.
4. He would get a big share of these lands after Oak dies
5. He would get a Pokemon with good potential.
The benefits that Oak said were not immediate benefits except for the number 5 but it would help him in the long run. Oak and Blue decided to have breakfast and asked Axel to join. Axel agreed only after talking with his family.
He had not talked to his family after saying that he would meet Oak. So, he was excited to tell them the results.
"So, you became his successor huh? That is really good my boy. Congratulations.", said his uncle over the phone. His mom, dad, and sister were already out for their office and school. Only his uncle was at home.
"Yes, I would get a lot of benefits from him and it would really help me a lot to become the next Pokemon master."
"Yes, it seems that you have taken a step to fulfill your dream now. So, how are things out there? How is Bulbasaur and Magikarp? Did they already evolve?"
They talked for 10 minutes and Axel said goodbye. Then Axel was directed by one of the many maids of Oak's castle to a garden where Oak and Blue's family were having breakfast.
Obviously, this place had a garden too. When he reached the garden, Axel could see a young woman who seem to be pregnant with a child.
'This must be Blue's wife' thought Axel. He could also a little girl running around the garden playing with a Bidoof. 'This must be Blue's daughter, Daisy Oak. So, Blue's wife is pregnant with Gary.', thought Axel.
"And there is our Future Pokemon master. Come, have some breakfast.", said Blue inviting him. Axel sat off the chair and poured tea and had some biscuits.
"So, Axel, let me ask you... " started blue but his wife said "Blue, let the kid breathe. He just arrived and are you not going to introduce us?"
"Ohh, sorry about that. Axel meet my wife, Deliana and that is my first daughter. Her name is Daisy.", said Blue. Axel gave a polite gesture and Deliana returned the same.
Axel started to have his breakfast. His Pokemons were in the barn enjoying their little vacation. They started to have a small conversation. He realized that Oak was many great things but not a good family man. Almost all of his sentences were about his work and Pokemons. He was a curious old man even though he had lived his life.
After some time Blue asked his awaited questions "So, Axel, what is up with your Shedinja?"
"He is the most powerful Pokemon in my team.", answered Axel
"I know, but I am not talking about that. How can your Shedinja withstand the full power of Charizard's dragon breath?", asked Blue again
"Yes, I am also curious about that. You Shedinja must be mutated quite a bit and in a good way. It is not every day that you would witness a good mutation in a Pokemon.", added Oak.
Both of them were leaning toward Axel to get the answer but Axel was surprised by their remark.
"Don't you know that Shedinja has a 'wonder guard' ability and is immune to dragon type moves?", said Axel
"We know that, but even you must know that a Pokemon cannot fully master their ability at their initial stages. Normally it takes a Pokemon to be around Pseudo-King rank to accomplish it.", said Oak
Axel was surprised by these sentences. "I know about that. But I thought that every Shedinja had mastered their ability when they evolve from Nincada as they have very low Hp."
"How does that even make sense?", said Blue in a loud voice.
Oak also calmed down a little and then said, "Axel, every Pokemon, whether it is legendary or non-legendary needs to master their ability. And that includes Shedinja too. That is why Shedinja is considered the weakest Pokemon of all. Cause in early stages almost every attack can make it faint or even kill it."
Axel then came to a horrible realization. 'Then how could Marcus master its ability?', he thought.
"Your Shedinja is obviously mutated. Do you know how it got mutated?", asked Blue.
"All I know is that a trainer named Bruno had Nincada. He wanted it to evolve to Ninjask but due to his mistake, It evolved to both Ninjask and Shedinja. He tried to stop the process but it had already happened.
Because he tried to stop it, Ninjask died and only Shedinja remained. The only mutation that I know until now is that my Shedinja is not a hollow Pokemon. It could make a variety of expressions and also move its muscles."
