Axel looked at his current stats. He didn't have the habit of looking at his stats, so, he didn't know how much he had improved.

Axel knew some of the expected changes like his new passive skill 'Aura resistance'. What he didn't expect was the rapid increase of his intellect stat to 62. The last time he checked, it was just above 50. The leadership stat had also increased. He had been able to train Beedrill and Shedinja in their new moves. So, the rise in leadership stat was expected.
Axel relayed his plan to Oak on training his Aura skills. Oak recommended Axel to train in 'Aura sense' right now as he had just learned to grasp the power of Aura and he needed a lot of experience to learn new advanced moves like healing.
Oak forbid Axel to train in 'Aura resistance' until his body was stronger enough. Charizard had meticulously calculated the aura pressure but not every Pokemon could do it. And the best way to practice Aura sense was to meditate.
The rules of meditation for Aura sense were not complicated. Axel just had to clear his mind and then feel the Aura of different living things around him. But it was very hard cause it was vague.
Axel sat crossed-legged on the grass and tried to clear his mind. It was early in the morning just before sunrise. It took him 30 minutes to clear his mind and then he opened his eyes.
"These Chinese novels!! All of them make meditation very easy.", shouted Axel. Meditation was not an easy job. It required a person to sit still for a long time and clear his mind. Axel also had to sense the Aura of other living things but it was already hard enough for him to calm his mind down.
Axel had practiced meditation for 3 months in Venu family. Towards the end of 3 months, Axel could meditate continuously for 2 hours. But now, since it had been more than a month since he did meditation, he could barely hold it in for 30 minutes.
Axel realized that he should do meditation once a day from now on. He didn't want to lose the habit of doing it again.
Normally, when he was fed up with meditation, he would just do exercises at Venu family but now, he could not. So, he was frustrated and complained internally.
Axel rested for 15 minutes and started to meditate again. This process was going on and on for the whole day. At the end of the day, he could increase his meditation time by only 5 minutes.
Axel felt that like body, mind should also be needed to be kept in shape. Yesterday at night, he was thinking of making an OP move like Aura armor for himself but right now he could not even meditate for 1 hour. So, he tried to calm down a little.
'One step at a time' he thought.
He thought to increase his meditation time by 5 minutes every day until it reaches 2 hours. When he could finally do it for 2 hours continuously, he would plan something else.
Shedinja was now in its next training phase. Shedinja was the closest to reaching elemental rank now. Axel knew how a Pokemon would reach elemental rank. The Pokemon would be surrounded by evolution light. No shape of them would change but after the evolution light, the Pokemon would hold much greater power.
The training plans for Axel's team were extended for 1 more month as Axel could not instruct them perfectly like before. So, he decided to not change their training courses and now 2 months have passed. Axel wanted Shedinja to focus more on attacking moves like 'Shadow ball'.
All of Axel's Pokemon had done a great job including Absol. It had started its training, a month ago and was super diligent. It had learned a new move, 'Quick Attack'. Axel felt that physical moves like 'Quick attack' would build up the base of Pokemon in the early stages.\
Beedrill had increased its bug-type core mastery to 100%. It had still not increased the level of Resolve to Stage II. It was very hard for someone of rare rank to do so. But Beedrill had increased the level and proficiency of its existing moves and also increased the stats of some of them.
Charmeleon had also made some nice progress. The greatest improvement for Charmeleon in these 2 months was its vision. After seeing the power level of its evolved species, the eyes of Charmeleon had opened. It had felt that it was like a frog in the well and now it had just realized what the sky really is.
As for Nidorino, It had not been able to master the poison version of Rasengan but its mastery in other moves had increased along with 'Thunder Shock'
Axel had extended the evolution time of both Shedinja and Beedrill to Elemental rank. The requirement for Shedinja was to reach A++ rank in all the stats and the requirement for Beedrill was to reach Stage II of resolve.
Axel has also extended the evolution of Magikarp and the requirement was that it had been extended to 1 additional month.
All in all, Axel was finally able to see from his eyes and was ready to go on another journey. He was ready to challenge another Gym.
"Can't believe that it has been 2 months since I came here.", said Axel
"Yes, Time does tend to move fast when you are young. I, on another hand, feel like it has been ages since you came.", replied Oak.
"So, what are you planning to do now?", continued Oak with a question.
"I am going to Celadon City for the Gym Battle," said Axel.
"Ohh, so you are planning to challenge Renee's Gym. Be careful, she may be old but she is crafty.", advised Oak.
"Thanks, but the next gym would be easy for me."
"Alright. Good luck with your journey" said Oak shaking Axel's hand.
