Axel was sure that Venu family and Angela would help him. When the school advertises that it is a joint co-operation of both of them, the students would be connected to Venu family and more talents would come to Venu family which would increase their power. So, Axel was confident about it.
Axel returned to his home. Only 3 weeks were left till the baby arrived. He wanted to spend every time with his family and mom till then. His mother and father had decided to keep the gender of the baby as a surprise so he didn't know if they were having a son or a daughter.
He thought to increase his aura powers too. He was practicing 'Aura sense' but it was difficult to level it up. He didn't have any opponents to practice 'Aura resistance'. Since he could create such creative moves for his Pokemons, why don't he use a bit of that creativity for himself and his aura powers?
So, that was why he had called Oak a day before to send him books relating to Aura training. Oak was happy to help him and send him a copy through Alakazam.
Axel had read about aura from elder Adam but that was just the basic of aura. Now, he needed to advance his training.
He opened the book and started to learn.
Ivysaur is going to evolve. Do you want to extend the evolution?
All of a sudden Axel could see a green glow covering Ivysaur. He thanked his luck that he was near it this time.
"Extend the evolution."

Ivysaur reached the evolution condition very fast compared to before. It must have been due to the effect of the tide. It had to fight a lot and this improved it a lot.
Axel didn't want it to learn any new move. It had not even fully evolved. It would be difficult for a common-rank Pokemon to learn a new move even with the help of the system. But due to the locket gifted by Mew, Ivysaur was able to do it and learn 'Leech vine'.
But it would take a lot of time to learn another one and he wanted Ivysaur to evolve faster. That didn't mean that he would sacrifise its foundation. That was why he had added those conditions.
Absol and Tauros were training with their moves. Axel didn't want them to learn any other moves until they reach rare rank. He concentrated on mastering their abilities and hidden abilities. He would also give them vitamins and trained them with the help of Mew's book 'Ancient way to power'.
Then he looked at Pidgey. This was the newest addition to his team. What Axel didn't realize first was, it was a training maniac. It would train itself to the point that it once got injured. Axel had to personally stop it from training.
Axel then appointed Shedinja to stop its training if it over-trained.
Since it was the newest and the youngest Pokemon in his team, Pidey felt that it was very weak. So, it tried to train hard and reach the level of Alakazam in a month. That was its plan.
But how could a common-rank Pokemon reach Pseudo-king rank in a month?
That was why it injured itself. But due to the harsh training, it had improved a lot.

Its stat had gone through massive improvement. It had increased its ability mastery to 20% and most of its moves were now in 'understanding stage'. All of this had happened in a week.
But Axe knew that such relentless training would be bad for its future growth. A body needs to have a healthy mind. So, he decided to focus on it more than before.
Axel had 12 Pokemons to care for, so he could not spend much time with everyone of them. But he had to make Pidgey understand that it was going well and it didn't need to train hard.
So, Axel came up with an interesting solution. He gathered all of his Pokemons and made an announcement.
"From here on out, I would declare 'Axel Pokemon Competetion'. Common rank would fight against common rank. Rank rare against rank and elemental rank against elemental rank.
Each of the winners would get a prize from me. The competition would be held before we leave here. So, all of you have around 2 months to prepare. The prize could be requested by you and I would get it for you."
Pidgey's eyes lit up. If it could win the tournament, it would get a prize, its power would improve by a huge margin. It was determined to win this.
Axel felt that if Pidey could win the common rank tournament, it would boost its confidence and it would hurt itself while training. There were only 2 Pokemons in a common rank category. Pidgey and Ivysaur. If both of them were to fight, Ivyasur would definitely win. So, he thought to help Ivysaur evolve in these 2 months.
However, Pidgey would not directly win the tournament. He would find an appropriate Pokemon for it to battle.
The older Pokemons didn't care much about the tournament cause they knew that prize didn't really matter. Axel would always try his best to get resources for them.
But the younger ones were excited to win. One of them was 'Flappy' the Pidgey.
