So... I come bearing two announcements.
TL;DR of #1:We'll keep the 3 chapters/day routine for maybe another month… and then it'll go down to... 2!!
(cue dramatic gasp from the audience)
#1: Due to reasons I've already mentioned (on Patr-3on), mostly related to my "real life job", I'm no longer able to keep up with releasing 3 chapters a day. That's also part of the reason why I haven't updated chapters for the other book. For now, I'll keep going (3 ch) for one more month, tops.
And honestly? It kinda bugs me because I'm that kind of reader. You know, the one who gets all impatient when: the daily chapter count feels too low. The daily chapter count drops. (I know… the audacity).
But to be real with you, I only have about 4–5 hours of free time a day now to work on this. I was already pushing it back when I had 6. I've gone five months straight without taking a single day off… checking, editing out as much "poison" as I can without messing up the story. And frankly, I don't want to rush and end up delivering something half-baked. (At the very least, I think I've been doing a decent job.)
Now, one idea I had to make it up to you is this:If we hit a Power Stones goal, I'll bank one extra chapter (up to 3 per week), and then post them at the end of the week. That way I can plan around my schedule and squeeze in those extra chapters without nuking my free time.
Another option: Make it 4 chapters per PS goal, but release the whole stake at the end of the month. Decisions, decisions...
