However, the day was not entirely fruitless; Cain found a point card among a group of Tauros in the prairie.

He inserts the card into the point device and watches as the number in black and white changes to three.
"Could it be that Team Rocket threw these point cards from the sky? If they hid them one by one, how long would it take them? Besides, the wild Pokémon here are high-level. If you're not at least captain-ranked, coming and going here wouldn't be easy," Cain thought.
"So, the map fragments that supposedly show the location of the point cards, could they not be simple pieces of paper? Maybe they are data that can be stored in the point device, or a small computer that can communicate with the point cards."
"Otherwise, how would the device react when approaching a map fragment?"
Cain pondered as he moved forward.
As time passed, the sun began to set on the horizon, painting the sky with a beautiful sunset.
After walking all afternoon, Cain finally left the prairie, a relatively safe place.
If he only wanted to pass the time waiting for the seven-day Judgment to end, this place would be a good shelter.
Before leaving, Cain ordered his fully recovered Slowpoke to leave a psychic mark in the area.
If he managed to find his subordinates and they didn't want to compete with him, he could bring them here to hide temporarily.
However, subordinates without ambition will not receive more resources from Cain in the future; they would not be worth keeping.
It was already past four in the afternoon. According to the season, the sun would set in about two hours.
Then, the dangers on Judgment Island would increase exponentially.
The Pokémon that come out to hunt at night are much more aggressive than those seen during the day.
Ideally, he would find a place near a water source or shelter from wind and rain.
If he didn't find one, he would have to settle for spending the night in a big tree.
But that would be Cain's last option.
After a day of bad luck, Cain finally found something positive as night approached.
Not long after leaving the prairie, he found a river that seemed endless. He walked about ten minutes following the stream and discovered a suitable shelter.
Near the river was a small hill, and at the base of this hill, a hole about two meters wide. Although he didn't know how big it was inside, it seemed deep enough to offer shelter.
The advantage of a cave is that you only need to worry about protecting the entrance, without having to guard against attacks from within.
However, upon approaching, Cain noticed a clear track on the ground, indicating that the cave's owner was a reptilian Pokémon.
As he got closer, Cain picked up a faint foul smell.
A Pokémon that can dominate a cave would not be easy to defeat.
Cain stopped at a certain distance and released his Slowpoke and Sneasel, ordering his Murkrow to provoke the Pokémon inside the cave.
Murkrow boldly flew toward the entrance, flapping its wings forcefully, stirring up dust, and filling the cave with wind.
It was like blowing air into a bottle, producing a deep sound.
Just as Cain suspected, an angry hiss echoed from within the cave.
Sensing the commotion, Murkrow grew even more arrogant, flapping its wings vigorously and dispersing much of the foul smell in the air.
Finally, an Arbok with bloodshot eyes appeared at the cave entrance.
"Murkrow, return," Cain ordered from a distance.
Hearing Cain, Murkrow sent a couple of small whirlwinds into the cave before returning to his side.
Living in a cave has its downsides; if a strong enemy blocks the exit, you have no choice but to endure the attacks, making it difficult to counterattack.
Just as was happening with this Arbok, who, as it faced Murkrow's powerful winds, moved forward slowly, unable to defend itself properly.
Of course, Cain didn't have to worry about that; if a powerful enemy blocked the entrance, his Slowpoke could use the move Teleport to escape.
But for this Arbok, who had just reached the entrance, the situation was complicated.
Normally, it would only come out when night had fully settled, but now, suddenly woken and attacked by Murkrow, it was clearly annoyed.
