With the Appeal Round complete, the competition moved to the Battle Round. The matchups were announced, and May was set to face none other than Jessie's alter ego, the self-proclaimed "diva," Jessibella.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the final battle is here! It's Jessibella and her Banette against May and her Blaziken!" Lillian's voice rang out, hyping up the crowd.
On stage, Jessie, playing up her diva persona, struck a dramatic pose. "Hmph, May, your journey ends here! Witness the brilliance of Jessibella and my unstoppable Banette!"
May, undeterred, smiled confidently. "Let's give it our all, Blaziken! This is our moment!"
Blaziken emerged, exuding strength and determination. Banette, however, was equally fearsome, its eyes glinting with malice.
"Banette, Shadow Ball!" Jessie commanded.
"Blaziken, counter with Flamethrower!" May replied.
The attacks clashed midair in a fiery explosion, setting the stage for an epic showdown.
