"Hahaha! Our Ultimate Mecha is indestructible!" Gurr, the leader of the poachers, boasted from inside the colossal machine. "No matter what you throw at us, this masterpiece won't budge!"
His subordinates, Chico and Fatbo, chimed in with sycophantic praises, further inflating Gurr's ego.
"Don't waste time on those kids. Once we capture Tyranitar and its pup, we'll settle the score!" Gurr commanded, steering the mecha toward their prey—a towering Tyranitar and its companion Pupitar.
"A Pupitar… you've evolved, haven't you?" Ash said, his tone a mix of surprise and admiration. "Alright, Charizard, make sure they don't escape! And Snorlax, it's your time to shine!"
Ash released his Snorlax from its Poké Ball, its imposing figure landing with a resounding thud.

With a resounding crack, Snorlax's powered-up punch struck the mecha, leaving a spider-web of fractures across its reinforced armor. The machine shuddered under the force, forced to halt.
As the poachers stared in shock, Tyranitar unleashed a devastating Hyper Beam. The golden beam tore through the mecha, reducing it to rubble in an instant.
As the mecha exploded, Charizard descended, its fierce gaze locking onto the poachers. Misty and May wasted no time binding them with sturdy vines.
"You scoundrels! This is a Pokémon Sanctuary! Poaching is absolutely forbidden here," Misty scolded, hands on her hips. "Wait until Officer Jenny gets her hands on you!"
Though captured, the poachers remained silent, their minds already scheming ways to escape later. Ash, however, wasn't about to let that happen.
"Charizard, take these three out of here. You know what to do," Ash said firmly.
Charizard nodded, spreading its wings and flying off with the subdued poachers. Whatever Ash whispered to Charizard, only the two of them knew.
With the poachers dealt with, Ash approached Tyranitar and Pupitar.
"It's been a while, hasn't it, Pupitar?" Ash said with a warm smile. "How have you and your mom been?"
"Pupiii!" Pupitar chirped happily, remembering the days Ash cared for it as a Larvitar. Back then, when Tyranitar was absent, Ash had stepped in, acting as both protector and guide.
Tyranitar growled softly, speaking through Ash's aura.
"She says Pupitar is ready to leave the nest and grow stronger through its own journey," Ash translated. "She wants you to evolve and achieve your full potential."
Pupitar's eyes gleamed with determination.
"Alright, then it's settled! Pupitar, welcome to the team!"
"Pupiii!" Pupitar cheered as it officially rejoined Ash's party.
A New Training Ground
With the poachers gone, the group contacted Officer Jenny to handle the captured criminals. Meanwhile, Tyranitar led Ash and his friends to a perfect training ground on the far side of Mt. Silver.
The area was ideal—a flowing stream, dense forests, rocky cliffs, and an abundance of wild Pokémon.
"This is amazing!" May said, already brimming with ideas for her contest training.
"I'm going to push past my limits," Misty declared, steeling herself to overcome her fears and grow stronger.
Ash looked at his team, his resolve matching theirs. "Let's give it everything we've got. Together, we'll reach new heights!"
As the sun rose over the training grounds, it marked not just the start of a new day, but a new chapter in their journey toward greatness.
