Following Kai's gaze, Martha and the others beside him also saw the four Team Rocket executives.
"Who are you?!" Martha shouted. "Dare to attack us, the Fuchsia Bosozoku? Do you have a death wish!?"
Archer glanced at him disdainfully and replied, "Fuchsia Bosozoku? What a worthless group. Team Rocket is conducting business here. Move aside unless you want to regret it."
Hearing this, Martha's bravado faded. He turned to Misha and whispered nervously, "Hey, are these guys from Team Rocket, like those two bumbling grunts, Jessie and James?"
Misha nodded. "Looks like it."
"Then what should we do?" Martha asked, his voice trembling.
"Obviously, we stay out of it," Misha hissed. "They're a terrorist organization! Can't you see how dangerous they look? Let's leave now before we get involved!"
"But..." Martha hesitated, glancing at their damaged bicycle. "They blew up our bike. Shouldn't we—"
"Idiot!" Misha smacked him on the forehead. "Why are you worried about the bike when our lives are at stake?! Let's go!" She dragged him aside hurriedly.
Kai ignored their argument, keeping his focus on the four Team Rocket executives.
"It's rare for all four of you to show up together. What's the occasion? A team rocket Circus event?"
Archer smirked. "You're lucky to still be standing after that attack. We're here to settle the score for what you did to our base."
Kai spread his arms in mock confusion. "Revenge? Shouldn't you be after the Interpol or the Elite Four? They're the ones who orchestrated that operation. I'm just a small fry who happened to be there."
"Operation? Elite Four? Interpol?"
Martha and Misha exchanged stunned glances. The casual mention of such significant figures left them speechless.
What kind of person had they encountered? And why was Team Rocket targeting him?
Petrel crossed his arms, his expression menacing. "We've already dealt with them. Now it's your turn, boy. You've interfered in our plans far too often."
"Oh?" Kai frowned. "So no one is safe from your schemes?"
"Exactly," Ariana said with a sinister laugh. "And per Giovanni's direct order, you're to be eliminated."
Hearing Giovanni's name, Kai's expression hardened. He realized there was no escaping this fight.
Kai reached for his Poké Balls.
Archer raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Not planning to run, are you?"
"Run?" Kai shook his head. "There's no point. If I ran, you'd just keep coming after me, I want to put an end to this once and for all."
"Hah, at least you're not a complete coward," Proton sneered. "Let's see how long that bravado lasts."
The four executives released their Pokémon: a Magmortar, Houndoom, Arbok, Murkrow, Golbat, and Weezing. The air became thick with tension as they formed a blockade.
Kai, unfazed, released his own team: Gardevoir, Gyarados, Jolteon, Charmeleon, Blastoise, and Ivysaur. His Pokémon stood tall, ready to battle.
Archer smirked as he surveyed Kai's team. "No Zapdos or Haunter this time? You must really be underestimating us."
Suddenly, a loud roar echoed. Archer's Tyranitar stepped forward, glaring fiercely. It had been the one responsible for the earlier attack.
Kai reached into his bag, pulling out his mask and placing it over his face. His expression grew resolute as he prepared for battle.
"If you think I'll hold back against you, you're dead wrong," he said, gripping a Poké Ball tightly. "All my cards are on the table!"
He threw the ball with force, releasing Zapdos. The legendary Pokémon spread its wings, letting out a thunderous cry.
Martha and Misha, watching from the sidelines, froze in shock.
"Wait… is that—?" Martha stammered.
"Yes," Misha whispered, her eyes wide. "That's the Masked Trainer—the one who's been all over the internet lately!"
With both sides prepared, there was no room for words. The battle erupted in a flurry of powerful moves.
Psychic blasts, Water Guns, Flamethrowers, Razor Leaves, and Thunderbolts filled the air. Bites, Poison Jabs, Fire Punches, Air Slashes, and Sludge Bombs countered in return.
The scene turned chaotic as Pokémon collided, creating a battlefield of raw energy and destruction.
Tyranitar charged toward Kai, but Gyarados intercepted it, their clash creating shockwaves.
Magmortar targeted Ivysaur, but Blastoise launched a Water Cannon to keep it at bay.
Murkrow dove at Gardevoir, only to be struck down by Jolteon's Thunderbolt.
As the intense battle raged, Kai's mind was Focused, anticipating his opponents' every move. But just as he dodged a Poison Jab aimed at him, a voice called out from the sea beneath the bridge.
