John smirked, his plan having worked flawlessly. "Nice work, Gardevoir. Now, let's finish this! Use—"
"I surrender," Norman interrupted abruptly, raising a hand.
John froze mid-command, stunned by the sudden capitulation. "What? You're giving up?"
Norman chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Once Slaking falls asleep, it's practically impossible to wake him, even if you knock him out cold. Let's just call it a win for you."
John sighed, running a hand through his hair. "If I had known that, I wouldn't have let Blaziken and Greninja struggle against it earlier."
