Sato stepped out of the glass elevator and arrived at one of LaRousse City's entry points. Immediately, a cube-shaped service robot designed to assist new visitors approached him and requested his League ID.

"Alliance B-Class citizen, Sato Kaede, verification complete. Data upload in progress... upload complete. Temporary identification number for LaRousse City: BGM01238921. Ding! This is your ID card for LaRousse City. Please keep it safe. If lost, contact the nearest service robot to report it."

The cube robot swallowed Sato's League ID, captured his photograph, and after a brief moment, a white card along with his League ID emerged from its slot. The robot instructed Sato to retrieve them.

The white card bore Sato's freshly taken photo on the top right corner and contained his basic information. This card served as his temporary identification within LaRousse City.

From the city guide Sato had perused earlier, he learned that this temporary ID was linked to his League bank account.

With this card, he could make all purchases in LaRousse City seamlessly. Additionally, any profits he earned through transactions in the city would also be transferred to his League account via this card.

However, LaRousse City imposed a 10% Income tax on all earnings generated within its borders.

With the registration complete, the large doors before him slowly opened. Sato stepped through, officially entering LaRousse City for the first time.

He now had three transportation options.

The first was to stand on one of the auto-moving walkways along the main roads, which would transport him to his desired location. These walkways spanned the city and provided quick access to various areas.

However, this method required familiarity with LaRousse City's layout to avoid getting lost in its intricate network.

The second option was to use the magnetic levitation cars, which operated similarly to traditional vehicles but were driverless and significantly faster.

The third option was to rent a flying mount.

LaRousse City boasted well-established aerial pathways and numerous stores offering flying Pokémon for hire, with several available right at the entrance.

To save time, Sato opted for the third and most efficient option.

Renting a flying Pokémon was not cheap—the minimum cost was 1,000 PokeDollars per ride. Due to its expense, this mode of transport was often reserved for those in a hurry or with ample funds to spare.

With the fortune Sato had recently acquired from the Sea Cave near Lilycove City, he didn't mind the cost. He paid 1,500 PokeDollars to rent a Pidgeot.

These rental flying Pokémon were thoroughly trained and had calm temperaments, ensuring they didn't act out even with unfamiliar riders.

Once payment was complete, the service staff removed Pidgeot's control device and guided it to Sato. With their help, he smoothly mounted the Pokémon.

The refreshing sea breeze invigorated him as Pidgeot took off. His earlier fatigue gave way to alertness. Gazing below, he marveled at the city's advanced infrastructure.

"What an incredibly developed city. Even the air feels cleaner here. Maybe settling down in a place when I'm older wouldn't be such a bad idea," he mused, admiring the clear blue sky. ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs, ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴠɪsɪᴛ 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡•𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚•𝙣𝙚𝙩

Pidgeot's flight was swift, and its knowledge of LaRousse City's layout was impeccable, a result of specialized training.

Following Sato's instructions, it quickly brought him to the largest Pokémon Center in the city, which was equipped with a landing platform for flying mounts.

Although LaRousse City maintained a neutral stance and discouraged external influences, its administration made an exception for the Joy family, fostering close collaboration.

As a result, Pokémon Centers operated by the Joy family were scattered throughout the city and remained its primary healthcare facilities for Pokémon.

The Pokémon Center Sato visited was the largest in LaRousse City and situated closest to the Battle Tower. Resembling a five-star hotel, it was the ideal temporary residence for trainers aspiring to challenge the tower.

After landing, Sato placed his temporary ID against the scanner on Pidgeot's harness. A familiar confirmation sound played, and Pidgeot nodded before flying away swiftly.

Waving farewell to Pidgeot, Sato followed the signs to the elevator. Like the others who had arrived via flying mounts, he rode the elevator to the Pokémon Center's main floor.

The bustling lobby of the Pokémon Center was crowded with trainers, nearly all accompanied by one or two Pokémon or carrying PokéBalls.

"Nurse Joy, please take care of these little ones and give them a full recovery," Sato said as he handed over seven PokéBalls along with his temporary ID to the Nurse Joy at the service counter.

"Certainly, sir. Please wait in the lounge. Your Pokémon will be ready shortly," Nurse Joy replied with a professional smile.

She placed the PokéBalls into designated slots, scanned his temporary ID, and returned it to him.

Currently, Sato carried only seven Pokémon. Before parting ways with Elsa and the others, he had released his Chinchou back into the wild.

After consulting the system's analysis, Sato determined that Chinchou lacked the aptitude for combat and personally, Chinchou preferred a peaceful life.

Releasing it into its natural habitat was the best decision.
