Sato wasn't one of those inexperienced young trainers. Faced with these overly friendly trainers, he kept his guard up and approached them with utmost caution.

For these strangers, he stuck to a fair transaction policy—offering his services in exchange for money. As for unrelated requests, like joining some faction or lending out his Bellossom, which felt like schemes to him, Sato outright refused.

Of course, exchanging phone numbers was acceptable, but only if he found the other party agreeable.

After spending nearly half an hour at the training venue being swarmed by overly enthusiastic trainers, Bellossom finally declared she was out of energy and unable to continue healing. Sato took the opportunity to slip away quickly.

Thanks to Ditto's transformation abilities, he managed to evade a group of what appeared to be fervent admirers tailing him. Instead of returning to the Pokémon Center, Sato opted to stay at an affordable inn.

After sharing a hearty late-night meal with his Pokémon, he enjoyed a restful sleep.

For the next ten days, Sato lived at this modest, out-of-the-way inn. Apart from occasional visits to the Pokémon Center for comprehensive check-ups by Nurse Joy, his routine was remarkably consistent.

In the mornings, Sato began with physical training for his Pokémon at a public park near the inn. Once that was done, he'd head to the Trainer's Market to hunt for valuable items.

After lunch around 1 PM, Sato would move to a large training facility to focus on skill drills with his Pokémon. This training lasted until 6 PM.

After a two-hour break, Sato would then head to the practice field near the Battle Tower, using the local trainers as sparring partners to test the day's training progress.

The inn, the Trainer's Market, and the practice field formed the three main points of his daily life, connected by a repetitive routine.

Over the course of these ten days, Sato managed to achieve several significant milestones.

[Milestone 1: Pokémon Progression]

With his Pokémon leveling up steadily, the highlight was when his Shiny Wingull finally evolved into a Shiny Pelipper on the eighth day. After evolving, its dual abilities and newfound mastery of Hydro Pump and Hurricane greatly boosted its power.

At level 28, Shiny Pelipper had climbed to the fourth position in Sato's team ranking, no longer stuck in the awkward last place. (Excluding Ditto and the Shiny Silcoon.)

Golbat and Bellossom reached level 35 after consistent training. Nidoran, with fewer recent battle opportunities, stood at level 29.

Meanwhile, Growlithe showed immense progress over these ten days. This was thanks to Sato acquiring Flamethrower and Fire Spin for it.

Mastering these moves enhanced its hit-and-run tactics, making its offense more aggressive and threatening. Growlithe's level rose to 31, regaining its edge over Nidoran.

Mudkip, who had evolved into a Marshtomp, saw the fastest growth among all of Sato's Pokémon. Now at level 33, it had also mastered Icy Wind, Rock Tomb, and Fling.

These moves helped address its weaknesses, particularly against agile opponents like Golbat. Combining Icy Wind and Rock Tomb for speed control, Marshtomp could now effectively counter elusive foes.

The only disappointing aspect was Shiny Silcoon, which had yet to show signs of evolution. Despite Sato's daily care and feeding it nutritious berry juices, there was no progress, leaving him puzzled.

[Milestone 2: Skill Reinforcement]

Sato found several TMs to strengthen his Pokémon beyond just Agility. Notably, he acquired Ice Beam and Shock Wave, both of which bolstered Shiny Pelipper's aerial dominance.

Currently, Shiny Pelipper had learned Protect, Double Team, Ice Beam, and Shock Wave. While Double Team and Ice Beam were already well practiced, progress on Shock Wave was slower due to Pelipper's type incompatibility.

Nidoran also learned Ice Beam. As for Growlithe and Marshtomp, they had already received TMs best suited to their abilities, significantly enhancing their combat readiness.

[Milestone 3: Battle Tower Progress]

Sato's win streak at the Battle Tower had reached nine consecutive victories. Over ten days, he climbed from the eighth to the fifteenth floor, steadily advancing through the ranks.

The once-daunting task of securing a ten-win streak now seemed much more manageable, thanks to his team's comprehensive power-ups. Nᴇw ɴovel chaptᴇrs are published on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵※𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮※𝓷𝓮𝓽

Compared to the passionate trainers at the practice field, Sato found the opponents in the Battle Tower rather underwhelming.

Still, he exercised caution, choosing not to rush into the tenth battle before his team was fully prepared. Once his Shiny Wingull evolved, and Marshtomp had sufficiently trained in Rock Tomb and Fling, Sato deemed the time right.

With his reputation as a Pokémon Medic spreading, Sato's phone was constantly buzzing with requests. Eventually, he struck a balance—using these calls to schedule battles with skilled trainers.

In exchange for healing their Pokémon afterward, they provided him with challenging practice opportunities.

This strategy allowed Sato to face a wide range of opponents and gain valuable battle experience for his team.

Today, at last, Sato felt ready for the decisive tenth victory at the Battle Tower.

At 9:30 PM, he stood on the battlefield once more. Amid dazzling lights and a roaring crowd, Sato emerged from the fifteenth-floor competitor's tunnel.

Tonight, this stage was his.
