As soon as the Level 51 pseudo Elite-Four level Yanmega was defeated, the frenzied wild Flying-type Pokémon fighting all around abruptly snapped out of their rage.

The red glint in their eyes quickly faded, and they scattered in panic, fleeing in all directions.

Seeing the enemy flee in disarray, the seasoned Team Rocket veterans finally let out a collective sigh of relief. None of them chose to give chase.

Instead, they all gave a deep bow of respect to Sato before immediately pulling out black PokeBalls to capture the nearby defeated wild Pokémon. Some rushed off to support other battle groups or assist injured comrades.

Observing the veterans' actions, a glint flashed in Sato's eyes. After a moment's hesitation, he walked toward the fallen Yanmega with Crobat and Arcanine by his side, then took out a PokeBall and captured the defeated Yanmega.

No one objected to Sato capturing the Yanmega—after all, he had been the one to defeat it. Aside from envy, the only emotions reflected in the surrounding eyes were awe and respect.

In terms of value, this pseudo Elite-Four level Yanmega was without question the most prized among all the wild Pokémon taken down in this battle.

Most of the wild Flying-types involved in the assault were just underlings driven forward by some powerful force. Only Pokémon Yanmega—pseudo Elite-Four level powerhouses—could be considered true prizes.

Sato had already scanned the Yanmega's data using his system. Its stats were nothing short of impressive, with an individual value total of 162—making it a top-tier Pokémon in terms of potential. Even if he didn't plan to use it himself, it would undoubtedly fetch a high price if sold.

Then again, it made sense. Without the help of any trainer, this Yanmega had survived and grown strong in such a harsh natural environment. Its aptitude couldn't possibly be low.

Low-potential wild Pokémon were typically eliminated early in the survival-of-the-fittest rules of the wild.

From the data alone, it was easy to see that this Yanmega was formidable—excellent potential, and a wide variety of moves under its belt.

Especially noteworthy were Hyper Beam and Giga Impact in the Tutor Move category—both powerful moves that hinted at the Yanmega's strong intuition and battle insight.

One major reason wild Pokémon struggle to match up against trained Pokémon is due to move diversity. A trainer's Pokémon can learn many types of moves simply via TMs, whereas wild Pokémon have to either imitate others or achieve mastery through long-term self-learning—a process that's far less efficient.

For this Yanmega to have managed to learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact either by imitation or self-study was a clear testament to its outstanding aptitude and intelligence.

"This Yanmega not only has Speed Boost as its ability, but it's also pseudo Elite-Four level, likely with incredible stats—ugh, I'm so jealous. What do I do? I really, really want it…"

Off to the side, Tanya—who had smartly chosen to withdraw from battle earlier—watched Sato retrieve a PokeBall and prepare to capture Yanmega. Her eyes gleamed with deep envy as her small hands clenched into fists and her expression twisted with hesitation.

As a trainer who specialized in Flying-type Pokémon, Tanya understood better than most the true value of a pseudo-Elite-level Yanmega with Speed Boost. The raw power it displayed during the chaos was proof enough of its strength.

If she had been the one to capture it, Tanya believed that with a bit of training, this Bug/Flying-type could easily become a top-tier ace in any civilian trainer's lineup.

Of course, that was assuming she could actually get it to follow commands. She had seen how bloodthirsty and unruly it had been. That kind of feral nature made it notoriously hard to tame.

"Forget it... A wild Pokémon this feral and aggressive is nearly impossible to tame quickly—and I wasn't even the one who defeated it. Making it battle-ready in a short time is unrealistic. What a shame…"

Watching as Sato successfully captured the Yanmega, Tanya let out a quiet sigh and finally gave up, albeit reluctantly. Deep inside, she still felt a stab of bitterness. Watching Sato walk away with such a rare and powerful Pokémon felt like a knife to her heart.

After all, not everyone in this world had the ability to assess a Pokémon's potential like Sato did. For most trainers, encountering a high-quality Pokémon was a matter of luck more than anything else.

As someone who focused entirely on Flying-types, Tanya deeply craved this confirmed high-potential, high-power Yanmega. She was even willing to pay a steep price for it.

The problem was, in its current state, the Yanmega wouldn't bring immediate returns—and that made her hesitate. Of course, a big part of it was also that she saw Sato as an utterly shameless, greedy merchant.

Sato, of course, had no idea what Tanya was currently thinking. Even if he did, he'd probably chuckle to himself while plotting how much value he could squeeze from her using this Yanmega.

The Yanmega was good, no doubt—but in Sato's mind, it was just decent. He didn't like fully developed Pokémon all that much. He preferred to train low-level, high-potential ones from scratch.

Because Pokémon raised this way were far superior in terms of adaptability, long-term potential, and—most importantly—loyalty.

Loyalty was something Sato valued greatly. It was also one of the main reasons why he hadn't brought Arbok with him this time.

After capturing the Yanmega, Sato took Crobat and Arcanine to assist other battle groups—not just to train his Pokémon further, but also to reap more rewards.

About ten minutes later, the chaotic melee finally came to an end. Team Rocket had successfully repelled this small-scale night raid by wild Pokémon. The battered base finally returned to calm.

On the battlefield, only true strength earned respect. That Sato had taken down a pseudo Elite-Four level wild Pokémon single-handedly made everyone acknowledge his power.

And among the Team Rocket veterans—most of whom were candid and straightforward types—those who had been helped by Sato during the battle offered him a portion of their own spoils as a token of appreciation.

These spoils, of course, were some of the wild Pokémon they had captured during the battle. Each veteran gave Sato at least two PokeBalls.

Soon, a black satchel at Sato's side was packed full of shrunken PokeBalls. A rough estimate put the count at over two hundred.

To have suddenly acquired over two hundred Pokémon—Sato felt like he was dreaming.

Still, he quickly regained his composure. After all, he had participated in a full-blown beast outbreak, and with his capabilities, this kind of haul wasn't that surprising.

In fact, if he'd had more empty PokeBalls on hand, he could've captured even more.

Sato had also learned from the friendly veterans nearby that all the wild Pokémon captured during this operation would count toward merit. Whether or not he could advance in rank in the future would largely depend on this massive haul.
