In truth, the actual power of Requiem Wing was not superior to Aeroblast; in terms of sheer destructive power, Aeroblast was still superior.
But the special aspect of Requiem Wing is that it can absorb the opponent’s power for its own use, converting it into Physical Strength or using it to enhance its own Life and Physical Strength.
It is the ultimate special attack against both biological entities and energy.

"That was truly a fantastic match, Ash. I didn’t expect you to improve so much in such a short time. Now I’m a bit curious about how far this little guy has progressed." As Lorelei spoke, she cast her beautiful eyes towards Pikachu on Ash’s shoulder.
If you talk about Ash’s absolute trump card, it has to be Pikachu that deserves that title.
