Qiao Jing responded and skipped the topic, “I don’t care what she said, marrying the fourth… Uh, shall we go buy groceries together?”

“Not yet back.” Qiao Jing placed the bags on the kitchen table and tied on an apron.

“Hmm.” Qiao Jing rolled up her sleeves, took a fish out of the bag, and began to prepare it.

After posting, he didn’t look at his phone anymore and went into the kitchen to watch Qiao Jing work on the fish.

Xu Hongzu gleefully watched Qiao Jing cook, unaware that his social media post had attracted someone unexpected.

The doorbell rang again, and Xu Hongzu revealed a smug smile. “My lousy son has arrived; you just wait for Xiao Jing to become my granddaughter-in-law.”
This time it was Xu Moqian.
“Lousy kid, you finally made it, come in quickly, Xiao Jing is cooking.”

Xu Moqian felt he was wronged! Zhan Yuanshan was blocking him, so he surely couldn’t actually fight him, right?
