Zhan Qipei pursed his thin lips, the softness in the palm of his hand making him somewhat reluctant to move it away.
If it hadn’t been for him pressing down, he would not have seen that scene and might have truly been unable to suppress his urges.

Qiao Jing was taken aback, thinking someone was violently pounding on the door. She frowned, lifting her gaze towards the direction of the door.
She saw Zhan Qipei’s figure in her line of sight, the man currently frowning deeply, his face very grim, his hands still on the doorknob without moving away.
It seemed that the loud door closing was caused by Zhan Qipei.
Qiao Jing furrowed her brows in confusion and asked:
So early in the morning, Zhan Qipei had suddenly closed the door with such force. Perhaps something had happened outside.
After hearing Qiao Jing’s voice, Zhan Qipei’s foreboding expression instantly softened. He took out his phone to contact someone while walking towards the bed.
There’s absolutely no way Qiao Jing can see the stuff outside the door; it has to be dealt with immediately.

She looked at the brooding expression on Zhan Qipei’s face, which in no way seemed like nothing was wrong.
