Having heard Zhan Qipei’s words, Qiao Jing unconsciously curled her lips, yet she hummed, "You might not mind, but I certainly do. My skin isn’t as thick as yours."
As she spoke, she lifted her arm to smell it and unconsciously furrowed her brows.
Since escaping the laboratory, and being forced to jump into the sea when their cruise ship hit a reef, until they swam ashore on this island, she had not had a chance to cleanse herself.
So, the scent on her body was indeed not very pleasant...
Seeing Qiao Jing’s actions, Zhan Qipei suddenly moved closer, lowered his head, and buried it in her neck.
Almost instinctively, Qiao Jing raised her hand and pushed Zhan Qipei away, looking at him suspiciously, "What are you doing?"
If it had been someone else, she might have kicked them directly!
Zhan Qipei chuckled softly, his magnetic voice resonating, "Didn’t you say you smelled? I just want to smell to see if it’s true."
Qiao Jing gave him a cold look, at a loss for words.
At that moment, Zhan Qipei added with a smile, "There’s no bad smell, I think it’s quite fragrant."
Hearing this, Qiao Jing was totally speechless.
She raised her hand again and pushed Zhan Qipei, who was hugging her waist, "Move aside, I need to continue bathing, don’t disturb me."
Instead of letting her go, Zhan Qipei held her even tighter and whispered in her ear, "Let me help you."
"No!" Qiao Jing immediately refused, very decisively, "I don’t need your help!"
He might have the audacity, but she certainly did not!!

Zhan Qipei spoke as if he wore a halo of righteousness.

Zhan Qipei’s gaze was fixed intently on Qiao Jing’s body.
After a moment, he removed his clothes and stepped into the water as well.

She looked at Zhan Qipei with a wary expression, "What are you doing down here? I told you, I don’t need help, I can wash by myself!"
The idea of someone helping her bathe was uncomfortable just to think about!

During the conversation, Zhan Qipei had already approached Qiao Jing, swiftly drawing her into his arms.
Qiao Jing glared at Zhan Qipei, struggling in his arms with her voice raised a few notches, "Who would ? Let me go! Right now!"

The two tangled in the water, the sound breaking the surrounding silence.
Because Qiao Jing was mindful of the three babies in her belly, she eventually let Zhan Qipei have his way and allowed him to help her bathe.
After the bath, Qiao Jing and Zhan Qipei, neatly dressed, emerged from the woods.
George, who had been waiting outside, walked over with a sheepish grin and greeted them, "Master, Grandmaster."

Speaking of which, Zhan Qipei suddenly felt quite lucky.
The island was not small, and there were many people he had brought along. So many had searched, but he was the first to find Qiao Jing!
Qiao Jing looked up at the sky, estimated the time, "Perfect, it’s almost dusk now, let’s go."

The trio waited for a while, when suddenly they noticed numerous boats speeding across the sea, clearly heading towards the small island they were on.
Qiao Jing furrowed her brows, sensing that something was amiss.
These boats had a clear target, evidently aimed at this island.
And since this island was where she and George had been hiding, the people making such a grand arrival here, aside from Zhan Qipei who received her location, could only be John and his men!
