While Ling Yun and the others were on their way to Beijing, a middle-aged man was standing in a snowy area. Not far ahead of him, there were many buildings made of ice and snow, and they were surrounded by a tall wall of ice. He sighed heavily and flew slowly towards that place.
However, the moment he arrived at the outer perimeter, twin middle-aged women appeared before him. One of them said so coldly as she shot a sharp glare at the man. "Halt! A man is forbidden to enter this place."
The man immediately stopped flying and cupped his hands to them. "My name is Ling Xiao of the Ling Clan, and I came here to see my daughter, Ling Ling."
"Hmm? Show us your identity jade." The other twin women also spoke coldly.
Ling Xiao nodded in understanding, he then took out a green jade with long tassle, and there was a small plaque that said 'Ling'. "This is my identity."
After they looked Ling Xiao's identity jade, the twins exchanged glances and nodded at each other, and one of them immediately sent a voice transmission to someone inside. "You can wait here."
"Alright." Ling Xiao nodded to them.

Just as Lian Ling was discussing Ling Yun's story about Yun Mingyue and Ling Xiya's memories with Lian Bing. Suddenly, they heard the sound of someone walking toward them, and they turned their heads toward the sound.
A woman about the same age as Ling Ling walked into their room. A head of ocean blue long hair spreads over her shoulders, and her face is decorated with exquisite features. At first glance, she might not seem so outstanding, but with a closer look, one could constantly discover her beauty.
Her figure is quite tall, and her figure is exceptionally well proportioned, neither exaggeratedly ample nor petite. Her assets are quite big and round, even her bottom looks supple.
She then said to them. "Junior sister Ling, a man named Ling Xiao is waiting for you at the outer perimeter, he told Elder Xue Lin and Xue Qin that he is your father."

"Are you going to meet him, Ling'er?" Lian Bing herself knows that Ling Ling's relationship with her father is very bad. She found her living alone abroad accompanied only by maids, and she was only 8 years old at the time. Moreover, she now knows her father's scheme for her.
Ling Ling sighed softly and nodded. "I'll go see him, Sister Bing."

"You-" Ling Xiao wanted to shout at her.
"You what? Do you think I don't know anything?" Ling Ling glared at him and continued sharply. "I know you want to sell me to the same bastard as you!"
Ling Xiao froze, he was confused as to how his eldest daughter knew about it, as he never spoke of his plans to anyone other than his wife, Yun Mingyue.
Unfortunately, he still didn't know that his wife and second daughter had fallen into Ling Yun's hands, and he had already told his big sister everything.
"Heh! You bastard! Are you surprised that I found out about your scheme? I am truly ashamed to bear the surname Ling! Back then, you cheated on my mother with that lowly whore. And now, you want to sell me for your business interests." Ling Ling's ridicule angered Ling Xiao, and he subconsciously began to circulate his Qi.
"I advise you not to do that, Ling Xiao." Lian Bing finally spoke as soon as she sensed Ling Xiao's qi. "Ling'er is my disciple and daughter; if you dare to hurt her by even a hair, I will kill you right now."

First, starting today, I sever all my ties with you and your Ling family! Second, my name will now be Yi Ling!"
After saying that, she sliced her palm slightly, and waved her hand so that her blood splashed onto her father's face. She then turned to leave without another word. Lian Bing looked at Ling Xiao with pity and then followed her.
Ling Xiao just stood there and stared at their backs angrily. He really never expected his eldest daughter would decide on something , and her decision threw all his plans into disarray.

"Do you really need to do that, Ling'er?" Lian Bing asked with concern because she loved Ling Ling. It can be said that Lian Bing was the one who raised her, and she greatly cared about her.
Ling Ling softly sighed. "I decided long ago, Sister Bing. Since I've found my mother, I don't need the Ling Clan anymore."
Lian Bing stroked Ling Ling's head gently. "Alright, I will fully support your decision, and you don't need to worry about him and the Ling Clan. If they dare do anything to you, then I will protect you from them."
