Primordial God Of Time Chapter 82

Not long after walking into the antique shop, they finally encountered someone who seemed like a receptionist. It was a man who looked to be in his twenties. Sensing his cultivation, Kranos realized he was already at the Golden Core Realm. He was slightly surprised.

Upon seeing them, the man gave a slight bow and said, "Welcome to Gravel Antique Shop, esteemed guests." He then gestured for them to follow him. As they walked, he asked, "What do you wish to purchase?"

"Array materials," Kranos replied lightly.

Hearing this, the young man glanced at Kranos, a flicker of surprise flashing through his eyes. He immediately nodded and picked up his pace, heading down a different corridor. Kranos and Demule followed, matching his steps.

Soon, they were led into an inner room. Inside, Kranos spotted a man inspecting something in his hand—on closer look, it appeared to be a piece of jewelry. Without needing much thought, Kranos immediately guessed the man’s identity.

The man, sensing their arrival, turned to glance at them. He looked like a refined gentleman in his late thirties, with a slightly mischievous glint in his eyes. Kranos wasn’t sure if it was just his imagination, but that was the impression he got.

As soon as they entered, the man placed the object he was appraising onto the table and addressed them. "Welcome to Gravel Antique Shop. What can I do for you?"

His voice wasn’t as feminine as Kranos had guessed due to his beauty—it was actually quite deep. Kranos quickly got to the point.

"Array papers. And open scrolls. How many do you need, and what rank?" Gravel asked, concealing his surprise. He had already guessed Kranos might be an Array Master, but his young age made Gravel treat him even more respectfully.

"Preferably Rank 2 and 3. A few Rank 1s mixed in are fine as well."

Since Kranos wanted to learn how to integrate time into the rank 2 arrays, learning rank 3 arrays was important, he knew it would undoubtedly be costly and difficult, but he was prepared.

Gravel nodded at Kranos’s words and then immediately reached into his spatial ring. "Will 100 Rank 3 arrays, 200 Rank 2 arrays, and 50 Rank 1 array papers be enough?"

Kranos nodded. That would suffice for now. If it wasn’t enough, he could always return for more. Seeing Kranos nod, Gravel quickly calculated the price for everything. Already guessing that Kranos was an array master, he included an array pen of all three ranks.

He turned to Kranos and said, "That will come to around one hundred low-grade mana stones." Hearing the exorbitant price, Kranos’s lips twitched slightly

But without thinking about it much, he quickly paid for the materials and then proceeded to ask about his next request.

"Do you have any array books?"

Hearing Kranos’s words, Gravel looked at him as if he were an idiot. "Do you even know what array books are? Those are incredibly rare and can only be found by sheer luck. If you’re talking about array papers, though—I do have a few."

"Can I take a look?" Kranos asked. He didn’t want to purchase something too similar to what he already had. Purchasing something different would greatly increase his insights into arrays.

Gravel hesitated for a moment but understood that Kranos wouldn’t be able to fully decipher the array scripts instantly. So, he nodded and took out five array papers from his spatial ring and handed them to Kranos.

Kranos took them and studied each one carefully, comparing them to the knowledge he already possessed. After a while, he realized that three of them were too similar to the one he already had. The other two were similar to each other so he quickly selected the one between them with more detailed information.

"I will take this," Kranos said. He was fully expecting to pay another hundred thousand low-grade mana stones—after all, that was what the old madman had charged him. However...

"That’ll be fifty thousand low-grade mana stones," Gravel said, snapping Kranos out of his thoughts.

Kranos froze for a moment, thinking he had heard wrong. Then he remembered the old madman counting with his fingers and realized... he had been scammed. Still, he was intrigued. It seemed that old man could divine certain things...

After purchasing everything he needed, Kranos thanked Gravel, and then the assistant led them toward the exit. Just as Kranos was about to walk through the door, he bumped into someone—

Or rather, someone bumped into him?

Kranos was stunned for a moment, he wasn’t walking blindly. He hadn’t been walking blindly. He always paid attention to his surroundings. It was clear—the lady had deliberately bumped into him.

A soft, feminine voice drifted into his ears. "I apologize. I didn’t see you there," she said, as she spoke, she purposefully made herself look vulnerable.

Kranos ignored the act and gave a polite smile. "It’s nothing." Then, without another glance, he turned and continued walking with Leroy.

However the lady stopped him, "Young man, you don’t have to be so cold... Why don’t I introduce myself? I’m Rose. It’s a pleasure to meet you," while speaking she had a sly smile on her face, but it was deeply masked to look like a genuine one.

But who was Kranos? As an old monster, he quickly saw through her facade. He was also slightly curious... Why did a lady he just met have such impure thoughts towards him? Upon noticing her expression, he understood that she was up to no good.

With that he imediately answered coldly, "There’s no need for strangers to know each other..." With that, he walked away without sparing her another glance. Thoughts on how a body could silently miss in Old Valarya should she try doing anything began to surface in his mind.

Seeing Kranos’ cold response, the woman smiled sweetly. She liked prey . The kind that thought they were untouchable—it was always more fun to watch them break when she finally cut them apart, limb by limb.

She just wanted to confirm if Kranos was the cautious type, but now she realised that he was probably an arrogant brat...

It most likely due to his unique secret... I wonder what kind of secret makes him act so proud... The source of thɪs content is ⓝovelFire.net
