The living room was lit by a three-meter-long chandelier over their head. It was extremely luxurious, made entirely of crystals.
The chandelier lit up the entire living room like it was the day, and it went all the way from the first to the third floor.
It had a similar design as a five-star hotel’s lobby, but the most important thing was that the surrounding walls were round. High-end wallpaper was pasted on good quality wood walls which held famous western paintings, giving it a feeling that resembles the Louvre. It had the style of a western palace.
However, Huo Mian couldn’t find the door. How would she get to the second and third floors?
"Are you looking for the door?"
"Mhm." Huo Mian nodded.
"The door is designed to be invisible. Look, it’s the scenery painting on either side. Just push it lightly."
After speaking, Qin Chu walked over and gently pushed on a painting, which was really a disguised door. It was magical.
Huo Mian felt like she was Alice in Wonderland...
"The design is wonderful, was it your idea or an interior designer’s?" Huo Mian excitedly asked.
"What do you think?" Qin Chu chuckled, and then he took Huo Mian on a tour.
They visited the kitchen, the guest bedroom, the master bedroom, and the bathrooms. There was even a cinema, a pool room, a yoga room, and a piano room.
Each and every room had their own design styles. Just among the bedrooms, there were Mediterranean styled ones, simplistic European ones, mixed style ones, and modern style ones. The tea room had a chinese design with an expensive zither and an upscale tea set.
They had everything...
Huo Mian suddenly felt like this place wasn’t her new home, it was more like a museum.
At last, Qin Chu brought her to a nursery on the second floor.
The boy’s nursery was light blue, decorated with a wallpaper of clouds. The bed was styled like a pirate ship, and it was filled with transformers, mechas, and superhero action figures like Superman and Spiderman.
The girl’s room, on the other hand, was pink. Musical notes and stars were scattered on the wallpapers, and the bed was round with a pink canopy covering it. The room couldn’t be more dreamy.
As for the decorations, there were Barbie dolls, stuffed bears, pink piggies, and plushies. Everything inside the room was cute.
"You are so attentive, even with the details of our kids’ rooms." Huo Mian held up an ornament and stroked it adoringly.
"It’ll be our home from now on. We’ll be living with our kids here, so all the work I spent on it was worth it. The view from here is beautiful, it’s close to the mountain and faces the ocean. I’ve decided to build a Disney-like amusement park at the foot of the mountain, for our kids and for the kids of C City. It’ll be free for all kids! What do you think, honey?"
Huo Mian looked at Qin Chu as her heart throbbed. She lovingly embraced his neck, "Mr. Qin, do you know how classy you are right now?"
"I’m not classy, I just did everything for our children."
This was something that Qin Chu had planned when he married Huo Mian. Later, Huo Mian said that she wanted a kid.
Qin Chu was overwhelmed with joy. He quietly did everything, and Huo Mian just needed to join in to share his achievements with him.
"I’m so jealous of them all of a sudden..."
"Who?"
"Our kids, they aren’t even born and you’ve gone to such great lengths for them. I’m so jealous," Huo Mian chuckled.
Qin Chu pinched the tip of her nose lovingly. "You idiot."
"Eh... Fine, fine, let’s stop discussing this. You’re acting like I’m pregnant already. It’s still early, I don’t know when it’ll happen."
"Doesn’t matter, we’ll quietly wait for our baby to come. Of course... We have to work hard to make that happen."
After speaking, Qin Chu carried Huo Mian to the master bedroom on the top floor. Huo Mian looked at Qin Chu’s gentle gaze...
She was once again lost in his passion...
