Huo Mian couldn’t help but laugh. "Hahaha... I can’t believe one day I’d see you so scared. You’re always so arrogant, I thought you weren’t afraid of anything."
"Did I really?" Qin Chu didn’t want to think about the fact that he might’ve run around naked.
"Of course you didn’t, you’re my husband... I would never let others see your body. But, I am officially telling you... you can’t drink that much again... I’m not the only one who loses control when drunk."
"Okay, deal." Qin Chu smiled and gulped down Huo Mian’s hangover drink.
Then, the two of them went downstairs for breakfast...
"Sir, Young Madam... someone from the company just dropped off your outfits for today. The stylists are waiting in the dressing room."
"I got it." Huo Mian nodded.
After breakfast, they changed and began applying makeup. Beginning at 9 AM was... the company’s red-carpet event.
The performances would start at 11 AM and last until 3 PM. Then, there would be fireworks.
All in all, GK used a day’s time to show how important its 30-year anniversary was.
At 8:55 AM, Qin Chu and Huo Mian arrived outside the hotel...
The hotel they held the party at was swarmed with mountains of reporters...
Qin Chu was wearing a black suit and Huo Mian was wearing a white, off shoulder fishtail gown. She had a corsage on her wrist and looked incredibly elegant.
People began shrieking in excitement upon seeing the two of them...
The media outlets all fought to report what was happening...
"Ladies and gentlemen in front of the television, I am currently outside the Ritz Carlton, where GK’s red-carpet event is being held. The anniversary party is starting soon, and GK’s President Qin Chu and his wife, Huo Mian had just arrived. Let us now take a look at the scene."
Qin Chu and Huo Mian locked hands as they slowly walked down the red carpet...
They stopped in the center and allowed for media outlets to take photos and film them.
They then took pens from an event hostess and elegantly signed on the signature board.
Huo Mian’s signature was graceful – she didn’t use pretentious cursive, nor did she use clerical script to show off.
She wrote ’Huo Mian’ on the board, but her script was neat, and her style was elegant...
Then, Qin Chu, Huo Mian, and a couple of city officials banged a gong, announcing the start of today’s anniversary party...
All the celebrities then proceeded to walk the red carpet....
After Qin Chu left the red carpet, he immediately went to the lounge to prepare for his ice-breaking speech later.
Huo Mian stood below the stage; just as she was about to go rest, a swarm of reporters surrounded her.

"I’m excited to be able to attend GK’s thirty-year-anniversary party. My husband and I have been looking forward to it. Thank you all for your support.’

"I’m sorry, but this topic isn’t fitting for today’s occasion." Huo Mian cleverly avoided the subject.

"I will let everyone know if there’s good news, thank you for asking." Huo Mian continued to smile.
"Young Madam... are there any large-scale promotions for Ni Yang and Mo Xu’er in the third and fourth quarter?"
