Huo Mian called Qin Chu on her way back home. Upon finding out that he was working overtime, she immediately headed towards GK.

Her white Audi Q5 parked right beside her; Huo Mian immediately saw the bento box in her hand.
"Huo Mian, you’re here?" Song Yishi smiled and greeted her.
Huo Mian nodded...
Then, she looked at the bento box in Song Yishi’s hand; the latter immediately took the hint and explained, "I just came from Mrs. Qin’s house. She said that Qin Chu’s been working really hard lately and keeps staying overtime. She asked me to bring over some midnight snacks for him."
"Why are you the one delivering the snacks though?"
"Oh... because I visit Mrs. Qin very often. On my way back, she asked me to bring some. You won’t overthink it, right?"
"Of course not, I just thought that you’re a really busy person. I feel bad that you have to run errands like this..."
"Don’t mention it, I treat Mrs. Qin like family."
Then, the two of them talked and laughed as they entered GK Headquarters...

As they went in, the employees all greeted her, and Huo Mian nodded at them in response.
Song Yishi asked with a smile on her face, "They all know you?"
"Yeah, I come a lot."
"Oh... that’s good, they all seem to like you very much." Song Yishi smiled dryly.
"No, they don’t like me. They treat me that way because Qin Chu likes me," Huo Mian responded openly.
Surprised by Huo Mian’s direct remarks, Song Yishi froze for a second before smiling. "You have a point."
Qin Chu was shocked to see them come in at the same time.
Before he had the chance to say anything, Huo Mian opened her mouth, "I saw Miss Song outside, so we came up together."
"Qin Chu... Mrs. Qin told me to bring you some, she made you some Osmanthus cake, the ones we loved to eat growing up. She made these herself," Song Yishi said as she placed the bento box on Qin Chu’s desk.
However, Qin Chu didn’t even glance at it, because all of his attention was on Huo Mian.
"Honey, have you eaten?"
"Nope, I was waiting to have dinner with you." Exhausted, Huo Mian sat down on the couch.
"Come here, let me take a look at you," Qin Chu said lovingly.
Huo Mian slowly stood up and walked up to him...
He put a hand around her waist. "Give me ten more minutes, and let’s go get some food, deal?"
"Deal." Huo Mian nodded obediently.
Song Yishi suddenly felt awkward standing there...
"I’m going to go now, see you later."
"Okay, bye."
Huo Mian didn’t want to falsely invite Song Yishi to join them for dinner, because she never liked her to begin with.
Therefore, she immediately waved goodbye at her.
Qin Chu said goodbye as well, forcing Song Yishi to leave unwillingly.
Before she left, she reminded him, "Qin Chu, remember to eat the Osmanthus cake. It took her a long time to make these for you."
"Tell my mom not to make them anymore, and... I haven’t had Osmanthus cake in years," Qin Chu said, enunciating each word.
