Xie Yunting succeeded in taking over the palace so easily.
It wasn’t that difficult to defeat a Zhao Wang.
Bai Weiwei didn’t care about this, either. As long as Xie Yunting didn’t die it was enough.
She indifferently grunted, and then just said: “Then we will sleep.”
Bai Weiwei got into bed and obediently covered herself with a quilt to sleep.
People must raise their spirits in order to have the energy to work well.
Xie Yunting should be returning soon. How should she behave in order to fish up some favorability, without making him misunderstand that she liked him?
Shaping him into a do-M1, gaining favorability with a slap, it’d be so awesome.
Bai Weiwei fell asleep with a smile.
When she was half asleep, the thunder and lightning outside woke her up.
She half-consciously looked out of bed. It seemed to be a heavy rain, which was very rare in winter.
She yawned and went back to sleep.
As a result, she didn’t hear the door creak open.
The smell of blood, mixed with the cold wind, drifted in.
Bai Weiwei’s entire body shivered, and abruptly woke up. Gao Jixiang, who was on night watch, was gone.
The palace was completely empty, and from the palace entrance came the sound of steady footsteps.
Bai Weiwei: “Slagstem, is it a ghost?”
This atmosphere, just like a ghost scene from a movie.
The system was quiet, quiet, pulled out a sad and desolate erhu2. It grandly recited: “Standing in front of the door was a white-clothed long-haired woman, mouth split open to the back of the head, eyeballs half-hanging outside the eye sockets, covered in blood, step by step creeping from outside the door…”

The person next to the bed, as well as the voice, all carried with them the cold stiffness of the battlefield.
Bai Weiwei, hearing this, looked up, and saw Xie Yunting wearing bloodstained armor. His handsome face in the flickering candle light carried a cold chill.
This man had just hurried back from the battlegrounds.
He smiled coldly, “Perhaps the emperor was hoping this official would die on the battlefield.”
Seeing that it wasn’t a ghost, Bai Weiwei breathed out a sigh of relief and replied: “The imperial court still has to rely on Tai Fu. Naturally we wished for Tai Fu’s victory.”
Xie Yunting then saw his letters, scattered randomly on the desk.
None of them were opened.
On the battlefield, he was torn in two with longing, day and night.
The little emperor didn’t even give him a little thought.
None of his letters received a response.
After the battle stabilized with much difficulty, he hastily rushed back that very night, not even sparing the time to change clothes..
It turned out to be nothing but self-indulgence.
The little emperor ate and slept well, not even a little bit concerned about him.
Xie Yunting had always insisted on getting what he wanted. He wanted the world, and he was one step away from succeeding.
But he was slow to take this last step.
Because compared to the world, he now wanted something more-
Her.
Xie Yunting’s dark eyes sank deeper. He began to strip off his armor.
Bai Weiwei didn’t understand him. “Does Tai Fu need someone to come and serve him?”
Xie Yunting’s voice was hoarse. “No need. The weather is beautiful3, we emperor and minister should hold a candlelight night discussion, it’s also a beautiful thing.”
Weather is beautiful?
Outside was the crash and boom of thunder, and the pouring of heavy rain.
Lovely flowers, hidden moon was more like it.
Xie Yunting removed his armor, revealing the clothes inside.
But instead of stopping, he continued to take off his outer clothing.
Bai Weiwei frowned, “Do you need someone to bring you your clothes? Ours would not fit Tai Fu.”
