With such a practiced technique, it was clear he often opened doors like this. Lily Turner tilted her head to look at Easton Holmes, who had pulled her inside, her face full of disbelief.
Easton Holmes completely ignored the expression on the woman’s face and let go of her hand, urging, "Hurry up and get the things."
"Got it."
Lily Turner pouted dissatisfiedly at the man urging her, then turned around and walked into her room. After entering, she went straight to the side of the bed and took the household registration book out of the drawer of the bedside table.
Looking at the book in her hand, her mood suddenly became not so pleasant. Originally, she was supposed to get the marriage certificate after the wedding with Henry Thompson, but then those things happened.
"Did you find it?"
Easton Holmes’s voice suddenly came from the bedroom door. Lily quickly gathered her straying thoughts, holding the household registration book, and walked towards him at the door.
"Found it. I just need to grab my bag, and we can go." As she spoke, she walked past him standing at the door and headed to the living room.
In the living room, she found her bag on the sofa. Lily put her mobile phone, keys, and household registration book into the bag. After ensuring her identity card was in her wallet, she left the living room and left home together with Easton Holmes.
Over forty minutes later, the car brought the two of them to the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau.
"Are you sure you want to go in with me?" Lily Turner hugged her bag in her arms, cautiously looking at the man beside her.
Hearing this, Easton Holmes’s brow slightly furrowed, "If you don’t get out of the car, they’ll be off work soon."
He glanced at her and then opened the car door and got out.
Lily Turner looked at the man who was already out of the car, then turned her head to look at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau. She brushed her hair, which no longer dripped but still felt damp, with her hand.
After covering her cheeks with her damp hair, she got out of the car with her bag.
"Boss!"
Seeing Easton Holmes and Lily Turner walking over, Luke Crowe, who had been waiting at the Civil Affairs Bureau, strode over.
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes!"
When Easton Holmes left the military district to head to Lily Turner’s place, he had already asked Luke Crowe to come to the Civil Affairs Bureau first to prepare.
