Perhaps too tired, Lily Turner hadn't been lying down for long before she fell into a drowsy sleep. Just as she was about to drift away, the phone suddenly rang.
The sudden ring of the phone startled the just-sleeping Lily Turner awake. She flipped over to sit up on the bed, took a glance at the phone in her hand, and her face suddenly became grim at just one look.

Looking at the all-too-familiar number and note, Lily Turner frowned tightly. Now, she found this special note so ridiculous and ironic, she bitterly tugged at her lips.

By now, Lily Turner was so angry she'd completely lost her rationality. She probably didn't even realize what she had just said. She had completely forgotten Luke Crowe's warning to her in the morning, to keep her mouth in check, yet she spoke recklessly.
"Lily Turner! You really are shameless!"
Henry Thompson gritted his teeth for the final judgment. It's unclear if he was enraged or disgusted, but his overall demeanor looked very poor.
Jenny York was sitting beside him, and seeing Henry Thompson like this, she suddenly felt envy and hatred towards the Lily Turner over the phone. However, when facing him, she wore a gentle smile, wrapping her arm around him, "Henry! Don't be angry, it's not worth it!"
