Michael Linton’s attitude and stance were very firm and clear, which didn’t surprise Amelia Linton at all. All she felt was anger and dissatisfaction.

Both Amelia and Fabian Holmes were surprised, but Amelia spoke first, "How can that J... girl possibly be Daxton’s daughter?"
She quickly changed her words upon receiving a fierce glare as soon as she uttered the first syllable.
"Lily is indeed Daxton’s daughter, Aiden has already confirmed it." Regardless of Amelia’s surprise or doubt about this matter, Michael explained very seriously.
