He addressed him as "Sir" instead of the old title, which he had not used since becoming one of Mr. Linton’s subordinates.

But on Lily Turner’s side, she couldn’t remain silent any longer; her emotions underwent a significant change, "My father’s anniversary? When is my father’s death anniversary?"
Her biological father had been dead for over twenty years, yet she didn’t even know when his anniversary was; having a daughter like her was unheard of.

She would know sooner or later, and he felt it was better for her to know sooner, as it would aid in reconciling with her.

Lily Turner’s emotions were much more agitated than before. Beyond disbelief and excitement on her face, Callix Linton and Aiden Taylor also saw surprise and shock.
