The phone call from her sister made her so happy, he didn’t see her this happy when he came back at noon.
Knowing that it was a call from Alice that made Lily Turner so happy, Easton Holmes suddenly felt a pang of jealousy in his heart. He walked over and sat down beside her, leaning in to eavesdrop on what was making the two sisters so joyful. But she took the phone and moved away.
"Sis! You’ll be having dinner at home tonight, right?"
Learning that Sophia Wood had just cried, Lily knew it was unlikely for her to go over now, so she turned to Alice at home for help.
Alice seemed to understand Lily’s intentions right away and agreed without hesitation, "Yeah! I’ll mooch a meal here before I go back."
When she came, she planned to eat before going back. If it weren’t for the worry that mom and dad would get suspicious, she would love to stay there and not leave.
