The call to Lily Turner came from a completely unfamiliar number. She stared at the number for a couple of seconds before deciding to decline it.
Just after hanging up, before she could catch her breath, the phone rang again. It was that same unfamiliar number.
This time, Lily Turner didn't hang up but answered, "Hello! Wh..."
"Lily Turner! You think doing that will cover up the fact that you're being kept by an investor? I'm telling you, don't think it'll be that easy. I won't just let this go."
The call was from Jenny York. Furious, she interrupted Lily Turner even before she could finish speaking.
