When Amelia Linton told Evelyn Taylor to go their separate ways, Fabian Holmes immediately understood her meaning, knowing that she was worried Evelyn might accidentally touch the wound on her wrist.
Just now, to avoid Evelyn, she even circled to his other side. Seeing her like this, he thought her wound must have been touched by Evelyn.
At the moment Evelyn lifted her foot, Fabian Holmes immediately reached out to stop her from taking further action. Amelia Linton’s wrist had six stitches from last night, and now if the wound gets touched, it will bleed.

Earlier, when driving over, he saw Thomas Fisher and Evelyn Taylor standing not far from the gate, seemingly having an intense conversation.

Evelyn Taylor was about to say something more, but as soon as she uttered a word, Fabian Holmes interrupted her, then brought her along into the courtyard.
The two walked quickly, as if being chased by a bad person.
Not knowing the real situation, Evelyn felt both sad and angry when she saw the two leaving hastily.
The reason for her sadness and anger was singular; the only hope she had was completely extinguished by Amelia Linton.
What spell did that woman cast? To make someone who always supported her suddenly turn against her?
If they turned against her, fine, but to even show such an attitude, not even allowed to hold hands.
Evelyn Taylor was infuriated and deeply hurt by what Amelia Linton and Fabian Holmes just said and did.
"That woman definitely isn’t human."
After being angry for quite some time, she concluded that Lily Turner wasn’t human at all; whether she’s a ghost or a demon, she hadn’t figured it out yet.
"Who are you saying isn’t human?"
Thomas Fisher initially thought Evelyn was talking about Lily Turner, but when he saw her angrily looking at Fabian Holmes and Amelia Linton walking into the house, he was no longer sure.
No matter who she was talking about, he felt she was wrong, and he didn’t approve of her cursing others like that.
Evelyn tilted her head and looked at Thomas, and threw a remark directly at him, "Who isn’t human is who I’m talking about."
She didn’t clarify who she was referring to and instead responded vaguely and ironically.
"You’re getting more and more unreasonable, saying whatever you dare. Who taught you this?" Thomas Fisher felt a bit angry; angry at how Evelyn could speak without restraint and more so at how she’s behaving increasingly unreasonably, so detached from the sweet and obedient girl she used to be.
Yet Evelyn was not bothered at all, not feeling she said or did anything wrong, "I say what I please, that’s my right, not yours to control."
She glanced discontentedly at the man and stepped into the courtyard.
