Thomas Fisher followed the direction Alice Turner pointed, and only then he noticed Lily Turner wasn’t wearing shoes. When he came in earlier, he thought it was odd; everyone else was standing, but his sister-in-law was sitting alone in a chair, not moving at all.
"Is there a limit to where the shoes can be hidden?"
Before heading out, Thomas Fisher asked very seriously.
