"Stop looking, he’s gone far away already."
When Luke Crowe came over to find Hazel Jackson just now, Alice Turner was sitting in the car waiting for Hazel to get in. At first, she thought he was coming over for her, but then realized after seeing him talk to Hazel that he wasn’t.
She rolled down the window, tilted her head to see what was going on, and listened to their conversation. Only then did she realize it was her little sister worried about losing her good friend.
But the guy’s been gone for a while, what’s holding up this sister from getting in the car?
Alice Turner turned sideways, following Hazel Jackson’s gaze, and realized Hazel was looking at Luke Crowe. Unable to resist, she teased from inside the car.
Hearing someone inside the car speak, Hazel Jackson quickly retracted her gaze, took a deep breath to ease her little embarrassment, and then turned sideways to open the door and got in.
"Are you smitten by that soldier boy?"
Alice Turner glanced at Hazel Jackson who had just gotten into the car. Although Hazel had eased her little embarrassment upon getting in, she still seemed a bit uneasy.
Hazel Jackson raised her hand and gave a playful slap to Alice Turner, but inside she still felt a bit embarrassed, "What? Don’t talk nonsense, I just think he looks sharp in that military uniform."
After speaking, she started fastening her seatbelt to disguise her little embarrassment.

"I wasn’t shy at first, but now that you’re looking at me, I am." Hazel Jackson pushed Alice Turner, who was leaning close, aside. Her face really felt hot due to her words.

Alice Turner was about to retort when suddenly someone knocked on the car window. She turned her head to look, and Thomas Fisher’s smiling face instantly appeared in her view.
