Just like with experience, it had a cost, and it was much more expensive.
However, there were extra options that he found interesting.
Hmm... How about a dragon? he thought.
...How about something along the lines of an elf?
Rael nodded in satisfaction—there were reasonable prices too, apparently.
Nonetheless, he put that aside for now—he'd simply reach level 2 before thinking about what race to pick.
However, he did need something. Therefore, he opened up the premium shop and looked for an item that could help him fight.

Before it could even stop its momentum, Rael brought the knife down onto its neck, cleaving it clean off.

After each level-up, players would get some stats they could put wherever they liked.
However, instead of that, what he got was money.

I guess I won't be getting stats per level... Though, my stats should be much easier to increase now. A smile appeared on his face before he decided to move a bit deeper into this cave, which, after several hours, he deduced was some sort of dungeon.
Nonetheless, he had to clear it first.
Soon, he encountered another rat, which he quickly dispatched with a slice through its spine.
Rael let out a sigh. This was way too easy.
However, the moment those thoughts fell, he suddenly felt a searing pain in his thigh.
Looking down with a frown, he noticed an arrowhead sticking out, which he quickly broke off and pulled out.
Not even a moment later, another arrow flew toward him, which he just barely evaded.
Yet once his eyes landed on the one behind this, he saw an ugly green dwarf—a goblin holding a bow with an arrow already nocked.
Rael did not waste any time. Bearing through the pain, he positioned himself lower, making it more difficult for the goblin to hit him.
Despite the limp, he was able to get close to the goblin. However, as he did, the goblin suddenly shot an arrow at him point-blank, hitting his shoulder.
Gritting his teeth through the pain, he pulled his arm back and hurled the military knife at the goblin, hitting it square in the face and piercing through its brain.
He didn't back down and approached, bearing through the pain as the system messages kept flashing in front of his eyes.
How is it still not dead?! Rael's eyes widened as the goblin staggered back and shot another arrow his way.
However, in the heat of the moment, he caught it, turned it over, and tossed it back toward the goblin.
Since his military knife was still embedded in the goblin's head, it couldn't react to the incoming projectile, and soon...
